Abstract: A method of controlling a vehicle for stably performing over-the-air (OTA) software updates by fully considering a power supply status of the vehicle includes: determining a power supply status of the vehicle; determining whether to enable supply of an electric power higher than a value required to perform an over-the-air (OTA) software update of the vehicle based on the power supply status of the vehicle; and performing the OTA software update of the vehicle upon determining that the supply of the electric power higher than the value required to perform the OTA software update of the vehicle is possible.
