Abstract:
The weaving machine as provided with a means for directing an air flow past the weft supply means. The air flow serves to clean the bobbins, yarn storage device and other weft supply elements outside the shed in order to remove fluff which might otherwise enter into the shed.
Abstract:
A compound in the form of a metallized tetrpyrollic photosensizer linked to a fluorescent dye where the photosensitizer (PS), is linked by a structure that does not have detrimental radiation emmitance or absorbing characteristics, to a fluorophore, usually a cyanine dye (CD). The photosensitizer in accordance the invention is a metallized analog of porphyrins, chlorins, purpurinimides, bacterio pupurinimides, phthalocyanines, expanded porphyrins, benzoporphyrin derivatives and purpurins. The fluorophore is usually a cyanine dye with variable substituents. And, A method for determining effectiveness of PDT by comparing proportion of STAT-3 monomer with crosslinked STAT-3 dimer after PDT where the relative proportion of STAT-3 monomer to crosslinked STAT-3 directly correlates to efficacy of the PDT.
Abstract:
A stirrup insert for a stirrup including a bearing surface which is provided with a surface for placing a boot, and a holding area which can be detachably connected to the stirrup, where the bearing surface includes an internal part and an external part, where the internal part is surrounded by the external part at least in the z-direction, preferably, the internal part is softer than the external part.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a stirrup insert (24) for a stirrup comprising a bearing surface (50) which is provided with a surface (34, 36) for placing a boot, and a holding area (52) which can be detachably connected to the stirrup. Said bearing surface (50) comprises an internal part (28) and an external part (26). Said internal part (28) is surrounded by the external part (26) at least in the z-direction. Preferably, the internal part (28) is softer than the external part (26).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an air jet weaving machine 1 with compressed air supply components for supplying air nozzles 3, 4, 5 and 6 with compressed air. The compressed air supply components comprise a compressed air infeed line with a main shut-off valve and an air filter as well as solenoid values and pressure regulators for controlling and regulating the compressed air which is supplied to the air nozzles, with some of the compressed air supply components being collected in a separate compressed air supply unit 10 which is arranged to be separate from the rest of the weaving machine.
Abstract:
The stirrup has a crossbar that supports a rider's shoe in riding. The stirrup further has an upper portion that is provided with a fastener for a carrying belt of the stirrup. The stirrup also has a damping body, which is arranged on the stirrup between the crossbar and the rider's shoe.
Abstract:
The valve arrangement comprises a disc engageable with a valve seat without attachment and a resilient diaphragm engageable with the disc without attachment. The disc completely covers a passage surrounded by the valve seat and flowed through by a fluid. On the side remote from the valve seat, the disc has a central protuberance with cooperates with a central thrust surface of the diaphragm. The disc and the diaphragm are freely movable in a recess adapted to be flowed through by the fluid, the recess being present in a guide member extending around the valve seat. The recess has an inwardly projecting step with which the diaphragm edge part is urged into engagement. This arrangement leads to a flat compact valve with minimum dead space.
Abstract:
A resonant circuit inverter has an LC series resonant circuit and a switching device for connecting the resonant circuit with periodically alternating polarity to a dc voltage source, the switching device feeding a high voltage transformer. The resonant circuit inverter further includes an interstage transformer having a primary winding serving as the inductance in the LC resonant circuit and having a secondary winding connected to the primary winding of the high voltage transformer, the high voltage transformer having a secondary winding at which the load voltage is tapped.
Abstract:
An X-ray diagnostic generator has a high voltage means to supply energy to an x-ray tube and a high voltage regulating means housed in a common oil-filled tank.
