Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a touch apparatus including: a touch panel including a plurality of first touch electrodes arranged in a first direction and a plurality of second touch electrodes arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction; a driver configured to apply a first driving signal to the first touch electrodes during a first period and a second driving signal to the second touch electrodes during a second period subsequent to the first period; a receiver configured to receive a detection signal from the second touch electrodes during the first period, and a detection signal from the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes during a third period subsequent to the second period; and a controller configured to determine a touch position based on the signal outputted from the receiver.

Abstract: A touch device includes: a touch panel including a plurality of touch electrodes; a driver/receiver for applying a first driving signal to the touch panel while driven in a first mode, and applying a second driving signal that is different from the first driving signal to the touch panel while driven in a second mode; and a controller for comparing first detection signals received from the touch panel with a first threshold value to obtain first touch data while driven in the first mode, and comparing second detection signals received from the touch panel with a second threshold value to obtain second touch data while driven in the second mode, wherein the controller determines the second threshold value based on at least part of the first detection signals.

Abstract: A stylus pen according to an exemplary embodiment includes: a main body; a holder that is connected to the main body and of which an opening is formed at an end thereof; a stylus tip that is formed by being partially or wholly derived in the opening of the holder, and of which at least a part has a shape of a sphere or a shape of which some area contacting a sense surface has a constant curvature; and a conductive member that is electrically connected to the stylus tip and extends to the holder and the interior of the main body. According to the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, a program caused due to tilting of the stylus pen can be solved and touch sensitivity of the stylus tip can be enhanced.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a multifunctional touch input device capable of detecting a touch position, driving a stylus pen, and detecting a position of the stylus pen. The touch input device includes a sensor unit and a control unit, the sensor unit including a plurality of patterns. The plurality of patterns include a first pattern extending in a first direction, a second pattern disposed adjacent to the first pattern, a third pattern extending in a second direction different from the first direction, and a fourth pattern disposed adjacent to the third pattern. Here, the plurality of first third patterns have one ends electrically connected to the control unit and the other ends electrically opened. The plurality of first patterns have the other ends that are electrically connected to each other, and the plurality of third patterns have the other ends that are electrically connected to each other.
