摘要： An image reading apparatus includes a light source with a first luminescent portion that outputs light with a first wavelength range and a second luminescent portion that outputs light with a second wavelength range, the wavelength ranges being different from each other; a light-receiving portion that receives light reflected from an original irradiated by the light source; a scanning portion that shifts a reading position of the original in a vertical scanning direction by changing a relative position between the original and the light-receiving portion; a switching portion that alternately turns on the first and second luminescent portions when the scanning portion shifts the reading position, wherein a vertical scanning resolution for a first data obtained when the first luminescent portion is turned on is independently set from a vertical scanning resolution for a second data obtained when the second luminescent portion is turned on.

Executing the program, call relations up to a setup time of a breakpoint are stacked on a call stack. Using the debugger 57, these call relations are stored into a collaboration repository 51. A builder 52 is a means for controlling an overall development environment. This builder 52 may call a debugger 57 or another function 53 for displaying program information that comprises a collaboration matrix 54, a call graph 55, a class browser 56 and the like.

摘要： A method for producing glycolide, including the steps of: heating a mixture containing a glycolic acid oligomer, a high-boiling point polar organic solvent having a boiling point of 230 to 450° C., and a tin compound under normal pressure or reduced pressure until a temperature at which the glycolic acid oligomer is depolymerized, to thereby dissolve the glycolic acid oligomer in the high-boiling point polar organic solvent; heating a solution, in which the glycolic acid oligomer is dissolved, under normal pressure or reduced pressure until a temperature at which the glycolic acid oligomer is depolymerized, to thereby form glycolide by depolymerization of the glycolic acid oligomer in the solution; and co-distilling off the high-boiling point polar organic solvent and the formed glycolide from a depolymerization reaction system.

摘要： An image forming apparatus includes: an image processing section for performing tone correction of an image signal; and an image output section for outputting an image in accordance with an image recording signal output, wherein the image processing section includes: a tone correction processing unit which, in accordance with an input image signal, outputs the image signal having undergone tone correction; a density calculation unit for calculating a density value at a given position in a scanning direction of a test pattern image in accordance with an image signal pertaining to the input test pattern image; and a discrimination unit for discriminating whether or not density inconsistencies having arisen at the given position in the scanning direction can be corrected by the tone correction processing unit, on the basis of the density value calculated by the density calculation unit and a predetermined threshold value.

摘要： A process for purification of a hydroxycarboxylic acid by distillation, comprising: distilling a hydroxycarboxylic acid solution containing a high-boiling point hydroxy compound comprising at least one species selected from the group consisting of alcohols and phenols having a higher boiling point than the hydroxycarboxylic acid. As a result, a hydroxycarboxylic acid suitable as a starting material for production of a polyhydroxycarboxylic acid can be obtained. The purified hydroxycarboxylic acid is further polycondensed to provide a hydroxycarboxylic acid oligomer, which is de-polymerized to provide a cyclic ester comprising a dimer of the hydroxycarboxylic acid, and the cyclic ester is converted into a polyhydroxycarboxylic acid by ring-opening polymerization thereof.
