摘要: A parking brake system is provided in which a parking brake state is obtained by forward movement of a parking piston (44) slidably fitted into a casing (23) with the rear side of the parking piston (44) facing a parking control fluid pressure chamber (47), and the forwardly moved state of the parking piston (44) is mechanically locked by a lock mechanism (31). An insertion shaft (59) and a casing (23), which form part of the lock mechanism (31), are formed so as to position spheres (58) radially inward when the parking piston (44) is at a retreat limit and position the spheres (58) radially outward when a lock piston (56) moves to a forward position in response to forward movement of the parking piston (44) from the retreat limit, and a plurality of guide grooves extending in the axial direction of the insertion shaft (59) are provided on the outer face of the insertion shaft (59), the guide grooves having a concavely curved cross-sectional shape with a diameter that is equal to or larger than the diameter of the spheres (58). This enables an automatic parking brake state to be obtained by a simple structure without consuming power.

摘要: A left hydraulic pump connected to a left wheel and a right hydraulic pump connected to a right wheel of a vehicle are connected by a first oil passage and a second oil passage to constitute a closed circuit, and first and second variable throttle valves are provided between the first and second oil passages and the tank. Either one of the first and second variable throttle valves is throttled to cause the first and second hydraulic pumps to produce a braking force and a driving force, respectively, thereby controlling a yaw moment. At the same time, when either one of left and right wheel suspensions expands, the roll rigidity of the vehicle increases or decreases to vary the cornering forces of the wheels, thereby producing a yaw moment which assists in the yaw moment produced by the first and second hydraulic pumps.

摘要: In a brake control system for yaw control in a vehicle, the conditions for starting a brake operation are that the absolute value of a deviation between a target yaw rate determined in a target yaw rate determining device and an actual yaw rate detected by a yaw rate detecting device is equal to or greater than a preset deviation value and that the absolute yaw rate is equal to or greater than a preset value. The wheel brake for an outer wheel, during turning of the vehicle, is operated by the yaw control system based on the deviation between both the yaw rates. However, brake control does not occur when both of the yaw rates are the same in direction and are large. Thus, yaw control is conducted immediately when necessary, but the conduction of unnecessary yaw control is avoided, thereby reducing the frequency of the brake operation.

The lock mechanism responds to forward movement of the parking piston to mechanically lock the parking piston at a forward position and unlocking in response to the action of a parking release control fluid pressure. The lock mechanism includes a lock piston that is to the rear of the parking piston having an axis orthogonal to the axis of the parking piston. This enables an automatic parking brake mode to be obtained by a simple structure without consuming power.

摘要: A vehicular anti-lock control system includes: a ground load calculation section for detecting or estimating a ground load of a wheel; a road surface friction coefficient calculation section for detecting or estimating a road surface friction coefficient; and a reference fluid pressure calculation section for calculating an upper side reference fluid pressure and a lower side reference fluid pressure in anti-lock control based on the ground load and the friction coefficient. The upper and lower side reference fluid pressures are respectively determined to be an upper limit value and a lower limit value of a fluid pressure in anti-lock control. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the amount of change in the fluid pressure during anti-lock control, thus improving the braking effect and the braking feel.
