摘要: A zoom lens barrel is provided having a plurality of lens groups which are moved with respect to one another along a predetermined path. The zoom lens barrel comprises a driving barrel which rotates about an optical axis of the plurality of lens groups and at least three telescoping barrels which are moved in the direction of the optical axis by rotation of the driving barrel. Each telescoping barrel which is mounted on an inner periphery of another telescoping barrel of the telescoping barrels, travels a greater distance along the optical axis direction than the another telescoping barrel. A lens group driving mechanism is provided for moving the plurality of lens groups in the optical axis direction by movement of the at least three telescoping barrels in the optical axis direction.

摘要: A camera having a zoom lens barrel that includes an aperture size changing mechanism including a pair of light intercepting members which are inserted into a retracted from a rectangular-shaped photographing aperture of the camera for changing the photographing aperture size. The camera further includes a non-rotational cylinder which moves in the direction of the optical axis of the zoom lens without rotating. A rotational cylinder is also included and is driven to rotate with respect to the non-rotational cylinder about the optical axis. A gear supporting member is supported on the non-rotational cylinder. The gear supporting member includes a raised portion projecting toward the photographing aperture. The camera further includes a gear train which is supported on the gear supporting member for transmitting a drive force to the rotational cylinder. At least a part of the gear train is supported by the raised portion, which is formed such that the orthographic projection thereof may not overlap the pair of light intercepting members in the optical axis direction.

摘要: An imaging device includes a rectangular image sensor, and an imaging optical system which includes an on-axis lens element and a radially-retractable lens element. The radially-retractable lens element is supported by a free end of a swingable arm pivoted about an axis eccentric from the imaging optical axis. The on-axis lens element is non-circular, defined by a removed portion from a reference circle thereof along a long side of the image sensor. When in the off-axis displaced position, the radially-retractable lens element utilizes the removed portion of the on-axis lens element and the radially-retractable lens element is offset from a plane through the imaging optical axis and parallel to the short sides of the rectangular imaging surface. The swing axis is on the on-axis lens element side, in the long side direction, closer to the optical axis of the radially-retractable lens element in the off-axis displaced position.

摘要: A lens barrel includes a lens frame for supporting a photographing lens group, the lens frame including a guide bore which extends in a direction parallel to the optical axis; a support barrel, wherein the lens frame can be inserted into and removed from a front opening of the support barrel; a rod receiving portion formed inside the support barrel; a bracket detachably attached to a front end of the support barrel; and a guide rod provided on the bracket for guiding the lens frame to move relative to the support barrel in the optical axis direction, the guide rod engaging with the rod receiving portion when the bracket is attached to the support barrel. The lens group frame can be taken out of the support barrel through the front opening when the bracket having the guide rods is removed from the support barrel.

摘要: A lens shutter mechanism includes a support frame having a photographing aperture; at least three shutter sectors which open and close the photographing aperture via rotating axes which extend parallel to the optical axis; and at least three diaphragm sectors which vary an aperture diameter formed by the diaphragm sectors to restrict the diameter of the photographing aperture, independently from the shutter sectors, via rotating axes which extend parallel to the optical axis. The support frame is provided with rotational center portions spaced from each other at equi-angular intervals about the optical axis, the number of the rotational center portions being same as each of the number of the shutter sectors and the number of the diaphragm sectors. Each of the rotational center portions rotatably and coaxially supports a one of the shutter sectors and one of the diaphragm sectors.

摘要: A lens shutter mechanism includes, between front and rear support frames having photographing apertures, shutter sectors which open and close the photographing apertures; a shutter drive ring which is rotatable about the optical axis to drive the shutter sectors; diaphragm sectors which change an aperture diameter of the photographing apertures independently of the shutter sectors; and a diaphragm drive ring which is rotatable about the optical axis to drive the diaphragm sectors. The shutter drive ring and the diaphragm drive ring are located at different radial positions and at the same optical axis position. One and the other of the shutter drive ring and the diaphragm drive ring is provided with an inner flange and an outer flange respectively, which radically project toward each other so as to overlap in the axial direction, and engage so as to be relatively slidable in the circumferential direction.

摘要: A position detection system detects a position of a lens of a camera using a code plate provided with a plurality of electrodes arranged to form a plurality of patterns. The ends of the electrodes are respectively connected to a connecting point of a plurality of resistors connected in series, and a predetermined voltage is applied across the resistors. A conductive brush is provided such that, depending on the position of the lens, two of the electrodes are electrically connected by the brush, which short-circuits at least one of the plurality of resistors. Be detecting voltage at one of the connecting points of the resistors, which varies depending upon which resistor is short-circuited, the lens position is determined.
