    Abstract: A pushbutton switch element for a pushbutton switch structure capable of generating a click in a multistage manner which is felt by a user and reducing sound generation during a pressing operation, as well as reducing generation of resonance sound. The pushbutton switch element includes a dome section, a pushbutton section formed on an upper portion of a center of the dome section, a central movable contact arranged so as to downwardly extend from a lower surface of the pushbutton section, a substantially annular movable contact arranged so as to downwardly extend from the lower surface of the pushbutton section and surround the central movable contact while being spaced from the central movable contact at a predetermined interval, an inverted cup-like member adhesively attached to a distal end of the central movable contact and constructed so as to repeatedly carry out a flex operation between a flexed state and an original state restored from the flexed state while concurrently generating a click which is felt by a user.

    Abstract: Titanium oxide particles comprising particulate titanium oxide substrate having a zinc oxy compound or a combination of a zinc oxy compound and a silicon oxy compound supported thereon. They can be produced by adding a zinc compound or a combination of a zinc compound and a silicon compound together with an alkali to a dispersion of particulate titanium oxide substrate to neutralize the zinc compound or the combination of the zinc compound and the silicon compound in said dispersion, then separating and drying the resultant product. They are useful for pigments, catalysts, catalyst supports and adsorbents, and particularly excellent in deodorizing performance by removing malodorous gases such as ammonia, methyl mercaptan, hydrogen sulfide, trimethylamine, methyl sulfide and acetaldehyde through decomposition and adsorption thereof, so that they are useful as white deodorants for sanitary objects such as paper diaper and sanitary napkins which come to directly contact with the skins of human beings.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is superior in sensitivity to light of longer wavelength region with good stability of the sensitivity and is suitable for formation of high quality color image by scanning exposure with laser beam. This photoreceptor comprises an electroconductive support and, provided thereon, a photosensitive layer containing a titanium dioxide sensitive to light of longer wavelengths which is obtained by treating the surface of titanium dioxide particles with a mineral acid and then supporting on the surface of the particles a cyanine dye sensitizer and a hydrophobic organic compound. The mineral acid is preferably hydrofluoric acid and the hydrophobic organic compound is preferably aromatic or aliphatic organic acid and acid anhydride thereof.
