Abstract: The present disclosure relates to sidelink DRX operation in the UEs. One example method comprises: receiving by a first UE a first set of DRX configuration parameters from a network device, wherein the first set of DRX configuration parameters comprise: a set of cellular link DRX configuration parameters between the first UE and the network device, and a first set of sidelink DRX configuration parameters for device to device (D2D) communication; operating, by the first UE, in DRX mode on the sidelink communication according to the first set of DRX configuration parameters.
