Abstract: The present invention discloses a terminal configuration method, including: obtaining, by a network device, cell access information and/or beam access information; determining configuration information based on the cell access information and/or the beam access information; and sending the configuration information to a terminal. The present invention further discloses a network device and a terminal that can implement the foregoing terminal configuration method. In the present invention, mobility of the terminal can be accurately determined, so that cell reselection performance, cell handover performance, or beam change performance of the terminal can be improved.

The method includes: receiving, by user equipment, a radio resource control (RRC) connection request sent by the wearable device, where the RRC connection request carries identifier information identifying the wearable device; establishing, by the user equipment, an RRC connection with the wearable device; sending, by the user equipment, an RRC message to a base station, where the RRC message carries the identifier information; receiving, by the user equipment, the identifier information and first configuration information that are sent by the base station; performing, by the user equipment, radio configuration on a first interface and a second interface according to the first configuration information and the identifier information; and generating, by the user equipment, second configuration information according to the first configuration information, and sending the second configuration information to the wearable device.

A specific solution is as follows: a terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, the first indication information is used to indicate a configuration of uplink and downlink transmission directions, the configuration is used to describe types, a number, and distribution of resource elements comprised in one period, the resource granularity comprises a time domain granularity, the time domain granularity comprises (OFDM) symbol, the types of the resource elements comprise at least one of an uplink resource element, a downlink resource element, or a switch resource element between the downlink resource element and the uplink resource element; and performs information transmission indicated by the first indication information, of the uplink and/or downlink transmission directions.
