Abstract: The present invention discloses an inter-base station beam configuration and management method, a base station, user equipment, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by user equipment, a beam signal sent by a base station; determining, by the user equipment, a receive beam based on the sent beam signal; receiving, by the base station, a beam signal sent by a terminal device; determining, by the base station, a receive beam based on the sent beam signal; performing dynamic selection and fast beam switching between base stations in combination with a coordinated multi-point technology; and performing fast beam alignment between the base station end with the user equipment end. This application can effectively implement fast beam switching and alignment between base stations and support dynamic base station selection, thereby improving link reliability.

Abstract: A method for indicating downlink control signaling and a related device are provided. The method includes: generating, by an access network device, indication information, and sending the indication information to a first terminal device by using downlink control signaling, where the indication information is used by the first terminal device to obtain information about an antenna port that is used by a second terminal device and that is corresponding to a demodulation reference signal, and the second terminal device is a terminal device currently performing spatial multiplexing together with the first terminal device. Abstract: Embodiments of the present application provide a parameter indication method and parameter determining method, a receive device, and a transmit device. The parameter indication method includes: generating indication information for each of a plurality of antenna panels, where the indication information is used to indicate an adjustment parameter of the antenna panel, and the adjustment parameter includes at least one of an amplitude adjustment parameter and a phase adjustment parameter; and sending the indication information. The embodiments of the present application further provide a parameter determining method, a receive device, and a transmit device. In the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present application, adjustment parameters of the plurality of antenna panels are fed back to adjust the plurality of antenna panels, so that a precoding vector constructed based on the plurality of antenna panels is more accurate.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a precoding configuration method, device, and system. The precoding configuration method includes: generating precoding configuration information, where the precoding configuration information is used to configure a width of a frequency band for same precoding; and sending the precoding configuration information. The embodiments of the present disclosure further provide a transmit end device, a receive end device, and the precoding configuration system. In the precoding configuration method provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, the precoding configuration information is generated and sent, so that a receive end can determine, based on the precoding configuration information, the width of the frequency band for same precoding. In the prior art, the width of the frequency band for same precoding is determined based on only system bandwidth, while the width of the frequency band for same precoding can be flexibly determined in the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, so that requirements of a wireless communications system can be met in diversified scenarios, and system performance can be effectively optimized in different scenarios.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for sending a reference signal, and a method and an apparatus for obtaining a reference signal. The method for sending a reference signal includes: determining, based on a resource that is allocated to a reference signal in a basic pattern corresponding to the reference signal and a resource that is allocated to at least one basic pattern in a physical layer transmission unit, a resource occupied by the reference signal in the physical layer transmission unit; and sending the reference signal through the determined resource. It can be learned that, according to the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, arrangement of the reference signal in the physical layer transmission unit can be flexibly set.

Abstract: A radio access node (RAN) and method of operation of the RAN are provided. The RAN includes a massive multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna array. The RAN includes a processing hardware configured to carry out a communication method that includes receiving a digital data stream for transmission on a time-frequency resource. The RAN precodes the digital data stream using a digital beamforming stage to render a precoded digital downlink data stream for downlink data stream signal transmission to a user equipment. The digital beamforming stage includes a first precoding stage configured according to a long-term matrix, and a second precoding stage configured according to a short-term matrix. The RAN is further configured to generate a downlink data stream transmission signal to the user equipment in accordance with the precoded digital downlink data stream.
