Abstract: In a service signal processing method, an optical network unit (ONU) receives a service signal; maps the service signal to a flexible optical service unit frame; and sends a first passive optical network transmission convergence frame to an optical line terminal (OLT), where the flexible optical service unit frame is encapsulated in the first passive optical network transmission convergence frame, and where the flexible optical service unit frame is used to carry the service signal in a passive optical network (PON) and an optical transport network (OTN). In this application, the flexible optical service unit frame can be transmitted in both the PON and the OTN, and the ONU and the OLT do not need to parse the service signal.

Abstract: This application provides a radio fronthaul interface signal transmission method, a device, and a system. A network device obtains a radio fronthaul interface signal including a plurality of code blocks. The network device maps the radio fronthaul interface signal to M flexible Ethernet FlexE service layer timeslots to generate a FlexE signal, where the FlexE service layer timeslots are determined based on a rate of the radio fronthaul interface signal, and M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1. The network device sends the FlexE signal to one or more physical lanes. The radio fronthaul interface signal such as a CPRI signal, an eCPRI signal, or an NGFI signal is carried by using FlexE, and the FlexE service layer timeslots are divided based on the rate of the radio fronthaul interface signal.

Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method in an optical network and an optical network device. The method includes: obtaining, by a first device, first synchronization information from a first service data stream, and determining a to-be-transmitted service data stream; generating second synchronization information based on the first synchronization information; mapping the second synchronization information and the to-be-transmitted service data stream to an optical carrier container; and sending the optical carrier container. A second device receives the optical carrier container; obtains a second service data stream and third synchronization information from the optical carrier container through demapping; generates fourth synchronization information based on the third synchronization information; and inserts the fourth synchronization information into the second service data stream, to obtain a third service data stream. In this way, time synchronization precision is improved.

Abstract: A service mapping processing method for an optical transport network, an apparatus, and a system are provided, where the method includes: generating mapping adaptation indication information according to a mapping granularity of a to-be-carried LO ODU, where the mapping granularity is M×g bytes, M is a quantity of timeslots occupied by the to-be-carried LO ODU in an OPUCn, g is a size of a mapping granularity corresponding to each timeslot of the timeslots occupied by the LO ODU, and g is a positive integer greater than 1; mapping, according to the mapping adaptation indication information, the to-be-carried LO ODU to an ODTUCn.M payload area; encapsulating the mapping adaptation indication information into the ODTUCn.M overhead area; encapsulating the ODTUCn.M into an OTUCn; and sending the OTUCn to a receive end device. The method avoids that OTUCns that use different mapping granularities cannot interwork between a receive end and a transmit end.
