    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to methods and systems for providing multiple networks from a gateway. A multiple network gateway system can include a gateway (e.g., a router) with the ability to support multiple, configurable, and customizable networks. The gateway can connect to a source (e.g., internet service provider (ISP), cable networks, OTA networks, satellite networks, etc.) and determine the bandwidth. Using the determined bandwidth, the gateway can allocate the bandwidth among the multiple networks according to a priority order of the networks. In some implementations, the gateway can receive customizable features from the user. Examples of the customizable features can include security options, parental controls, operational hours, MAC address specific operations, number of user limits, and internet usage tracking. The gateway can determine the priority of each network based on the customizable features.

The methods of network operation may include the step of reducing congestion of the network by controlling a quantity of data being communicated by each client with the network.

    摘要: A method for transmitting data on a communication network, the communication network including a plurality of network nodes connected to one same medium for sending and receiving data signals. The data are transmitted by nodes on the medium during transmission cycles, and each transmission cycle includes a plurality of transmission opportunities each of which is allocated to a respective node based on a node identifier associated with that node. The method provides that at least one node listens to the medium for signals transmitted during a transmission cycle and detects the node identifiers associated with the nodes that used a respective transmission opportunity to transmit at least a signal. Accordingly, the node creates a list of the node identifiers detected, wherein the node identifiers are listed according to the order of the transmission opportunities in the transmission cycle.

    摘要: A system is presented for tracking user devices in a facility. Wireless signals and user information are communicated from user devices to a wireless device and a queue management server. The system determines location information for the user devices within a defined space at points in time. The system tracks the movement of the user devices within the defined space over a period based upon the location information. The system determines when user devices are within a threshold distance of corresponding resource devices based upon the determined location information. The system communicates user preference and profile information to the resource devices indicating that the user devices are within a threshold distance of the resource devices. The resource devices display customized information for user devices based upon user preference and profile information.
