The present invention discloses a method for assigning and processing a label in an optical network. The method includes: learning that a label switched path is required to be established in an optical network; generating a label, in which the label is used for indicating that a first optical channel data unit is multiplexed to a second optical channel data unit; the label includes a tributary slot type indication field that is used for indicating a tributary slot type of the second optical channel data unit, and the label further includes a tributary slot assignment indication field that is used for indicating a tributary slot occupied in the second optical channel data unit into which the first optical channel data unit is multiplexed; and sending the label to a node on the label switched path by a signaling message of GMPLS.

A lossless bandwidth adjustment method is provided, includes: A downstream node of an ODUflex path receives a request message from an upstream node of the ODUflex path, where the request message is used for requesting lossless adjustment of a bandwidth of the ODUflex path; the downstream node searches according to the tunnel identifier to obtain bandwidth information before adjustment of the ODUflex path, compares the bandwidth information before adjustment with the bandwidth information after adjustment, determines the number of tributary slots that need to be adjusted for a link between the downstream node and an adjacent upstream node, and selects a tributary slot that needs to be adjusted; indicates, through a label, a tributary slot after adjustment of the adjacent upstream node or the selected tributary slot that needs to be adjusted, and sends a tributary slot adjustment command to a data plane.

Embodiments can provide a service orchestration method and apparatus, and a server. In the service orchestration method, a service flowchart can be obtained. The service flowchart may include a plurality of operation model identifiers and a logical connection relationship among the plurality of operation model identifiers. The logical connection relationship may be an execution sequence in the service flowchart. In this method, a scheduling parameter corresponding to each operation model identifier can be obtained. When the scheduling parameter indicates a live network resource for executing the service flowchart, a live network status can be obtained by using a control plane. Based on the obtained live network status, whether the live network resource can be obtained can be verified. When the verification succeeds, based on the logical connection relationship and the scheduling parameter that corresponds to each operation model identifier, executable code for executing the service flowchart can be generated.

The present application provides virtual shortest path tree establishment and processing methods and a path computation element, so as to improve a resource utilization rate in a process of establishing and processing a virtual shortest path tree. In a process of establishing the virtual shortest path tree, a cost of an established path from a root node (a destination node) to a leaf node is compared with a cost threshold, and a new path branch is added to the VSPT when the cost is less than the cost threshold. In a process of processing the virtual shortest path tree, a resource occupied by a path branch in the VSPT that does not belong to an optimal path is released after the optimal path is obtained.

Embodiments of the present invention relate a method, an apparatus, and a system for assigning a tributary port number. The method includes: receiving a service path request message including a service type for establishing a service path used to bear a Lower Order ODU service; determining an OTU link; determining a free tributary slot resource in the OTU link; if a MSI bytes in the OTU link indicates a service type, assigning a tributary port number other than tributary port numbers used by Lower Order ODU services having the same type as the Lower Order ODU service in the OTU link; or if the MSI bytes in the OTU link does not indicate a service type, assigning a tributary port number other than tributary port numbers used by all types of Lower Order ODU services in the OTU link; and sending a service path acknowledgment message to the neighboring node.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a service path protection method, a controller, a device and a system. The method includes: receiving, by an end node of a protection path, a path selection instruction sent by an SDN controller, wherein the path selection instruction comprises a service path and protection path activation type, forwarding relationships respectively of a service path and the protection path in the end node; activating at least one forwarding relationship according to the service path and protection path activation type; and when a fault occurs in the service path, updating the at least one forwarding relationship according to the service path and protection path activation type. The embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies and resolve a problem that in an SDN technology, when a fault occurs in a service path, a protection path cannot be used.

Embodiments of this application provide a data frame sending method and a network device. The method includes: A first node obtains routing label stack information of a first path, where the first path is used to transmit a service, and the routing label stack information indicates each node on the first path to establish a channel of the service on the node of the first path. The first node inserts the routing label stack information and service attribute information into a payload area of a first data frame, where the service attribute information indicates each node on the first path to configure a resource for the service. The first node sends the first data frame.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a network path computation method, apparatus and system, where the method includes: sending, by a first node, a path computation request to a first path computation element PCE, where the path computation request includes a resource sharing object, and a head node and a last node of a first label switched path LSP; and receiving, by the first node, a path computation result that is returned by the first PCE and that is obtained by means of computation according to the resource sharing object, and establishing a second path from the head node to the last node according to the path computation result. According to the network path computation method, apparatus, and system provided in the embodiments of the present invention, link resource utilization can be improved.
