    Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication technologies. A terminal device receives configuration information, which indicates that one first combination is mapped to a plurality of downlink reference signals, and one first combination is mapped to a plurality of second combinations. The terminal device then determines a mapping relationship between a first combination and downlink reference signals, a mapping relationship between a first combination and second combinations, and a mapping relationship between second combinations and downlink reference signals based on the configuration information. Next, a first preamble is sent on a first RO included in a first combination, and a first uplink reference signal is sent on a first PO included in a second combination. The selected first combination has a mapping relationship with the selected second combination. A selected downlink reference signal group is indicated by the selected first combination.

    Abstract: Communication methods and apparatuses are provided. In an example method, a terminal device receives first indication information from a network device, where the first indication information indicates a first physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource set; and the terminal device determines the first PUCCH resource set based on the first indication information. The first PUCCH resource set is different from a second PUCCH resource set, or the first PUCCH resource set is partially the same as a second PUCCH resource set. The first PUCCH resource set is configured for a first-type terminal device, while the second PUCCH resource set is configured for a second-type terminal device. A maximum bandwidth supported by the first-type terminal device is less than a maximum bandwidth supported by the second-type terminal device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a synchronization signal block transmission method and a communication apparatus. In an example method, a first synchronization signal block SSB from a network device is received, where the first SSB is a first-type SSB for a first terminal device. If the first SSB is a second-type SSB for a second terminal device, a first control-resource set and/or first common search space is determined based on the first SSB. In the example method, different results may be obtained when the second terminal device and the first terminal device identify a type of the first SSB, and the second terminal device and the first terminal device may use the first SSB in different manners.

    Abstract: This application provides a method for sending and receiving control information, an apparatus, and a system. A transmit end sends control information on a data channel, so that a receive end does not need to monitor a control channel through blind detection within a period of time that is after the receive end receives the control information. This can reduce power consumption of the receive end, and also reduce detection complexity caused by blind detection. In addition, attribute information of a demodulation reference signal (DMRS), a start position of a time domain resource and/or a frequency domain resource occupied by the data channel, or a parameter in semi-persistent transmission (SPS) information is used to indicate whether the control information is carried on the data channel. In this way, the receive end can correctly receive the control information, and signaling overheads can be effectively reduced.
