    Abstract: A sequence sending method and an apparatus, to reduce a probability of a sequence conflict. The method includes: a terminal device sends, in a first time period, a first sequence to a network device, where the first sequence is determined based on a first parameter; the terminal device performs scrambling processing on a second sequence based on the first parameter, to generate a scrambled second sequence; the terminal device sends, in a second time period, the scrambled second sequence to the network device; the terminal device performs scrambling processing on an Nth sequence based on an (N−1)th parameter, to generate a scrambled Nth sequence, where an (N−1)th sequence is determined based on the (N−1)th parameter, and N is an integer greater than 2; and the terminal device sends, in an Nth time period, the scrambled Nth sequence to the network device.

According to the method, a first terminal apparatus can determine, based on second information, information that is in first demodulation information and second demodulation information and that is used to demodulate a first data stream, and determine information that is used to demodulate a second data stream.
