Abstract: The present invention relates to the cosmetic use of a composition including, as the active agent, 0.1 to 1 μM of a synthetic peptide of sequence His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH2 or one of the salts thereof in a physiologically suitable medium, in order to reduce or delay the appearance of cell senescence and signs of skin aging. The present invention also relates to a method for cosmetic treatment which relates to these novel uses, including comprising the steps of applying the composition, topically, at least once per day, for a period of at least two days.
