Abstract: An exemplary embodiment provides for a computer-implemented method for prior opted-in call acceptance-assisted message delivery. The method includes receiving a destination number, of a called party, for a telephone call from an inmate in a secure facility, determining, based on the destination number, if the called party had opted-in to automatically be connected to telephone calls from the secure facility and connecting the telephone call to the called party, if opted-in. Also, if the called party is not available to receive the call, receiving a message for the called party from the inmate.
