Abstract:
Compositions and methods for cleaning metal and non-metal surfaces utilizing a nonionic surfactant and an enzyme are disclosed. A composition comprised of at least one nonionic surfactant and at least one enzyme and having a pH of between 6 and 9.5 is specifically disclosed. A method for cleaning a surface using this composition, and a method for cleaning a surface using a first composition comprising at least one nonionic surfactant and a second composition comprising at least one enzyme are also disclosed.
Abstract:
A process and apparatus for the application of aqueous paints. The paint is supplied in a flexible container compressible by an adjacent inflatable bag. Paint travels from the container via a long delivery tube to a brush, roller or pad applicator. The container is compressed horizontally by means of a foldable base when compressed by the inflatable bag. The length of the tube is 1 to 3 m, and the inner diameter of the tube is 5 to 15 mm, to provide a steady delivery of paint to the applicator.
Abstract:
A fin box that accepts fins from multiple different fin box systems. The fin box can include a fin box body and a detachable insert. The detachable insert can be inserted within and secured to the fin box body in multiple positions where each position enables one or more different types of fins to be used with the fin box.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are operable to process production information related metadata content. An exemplary embodiment receives a user specification identifying at least one production information search parameter, searches production information metadata content associated with a media content event for instances of the user specified at least one production information search parameter, and generates a production information report configured to present information pertaining to the identified instances of the user specified at least one production information search parameter.
Abstract:
A method for removing ion implanted photoresist from a surface of a substrate is provided. The method may include introducing a gas to a reaction chamber containing the substrate; illuminating the ion implanted photoresist with radiation from a laser in the presence of the gas; and scanning the radiation across the surface in the presence of the gas to photoreactively remove the ion implanted photoresist from the surface.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an anhydrous topical antiperspirant composition comprising a dermatologically acceptable carrier and a perspiration reducing effective amount of a particulate antiperspirant salt suspended in the carrier. In addition, the composition includes behenoxy dimethicone and a non-polar, non-volatile liquid emollient oil. Such a composition provides improved skin feel (i.e. softer skin), good moisturization and softer, less noticeable hair (or hair stubble). Also disclosed is a method of reducing perspiration from human skin by applying the aforementioned antiperspirant composition.
Abstract:
Provided herein is the use of donor T cells that express a continuously active form of STAT6, e.g., before or during BMT/HCT or after BMT/HCT, the use of autologous T cells genetically engineered to express a continuously active form of STAT6 to prevent, inhibit or treat immune diseases including autoimmune diseases and the use of T cells genetically engineered to express a continuously active form of STAT6 to enhance an immune response to a vaccine.

Abstract:
A control unit for industrial applications is provided comprising a first compute box having a first microprocessor and being configured to run at least one first operating system. A second compute box may also be provided having a second microprocessor and being configured to run at least one second operating system. The first and second operating systems may be the same or different. The compute boxes may be mechanically coupled together or connected via one or more copper or fiber-optic cables, for example. Additional compute boxes may be added to expand the capabilities of each control unit. An integrated or detachable display may also be added. A control system for controlling a plurality of local input and output drops or devices is also provided. The control system includes a plurality of control units that may be distributed around an industrial installation and capable of data transfer between each control unit.
Abstract:
Systems and methods are operable to acquire device information from film set devices used to film a media content event. An exemplary film production information acquisition device has at least a sensor device configured to sense an operation characteristic of a film set device, a film production information management system (IMS) communication interface configured to communicatively couple the film production information acquisition device to a film production information management system, and a processor system communicatively coupled to the film production IMS communication interface and the sensor device, and configured to process the sensed operation characteristic of the film set device into information that is communicated to the film production information management system.
