摘要： Apparatus for electroplating radioactive sources on a member or substrate for use in an ionization type smoke detector device. The substrate is clamped between two members with a chamber adjacent a portion of the substrate. The chamber contains a hollow electrode which is positioned closely to the substrate so that when an electrolyte solution of radioactive material is placed in the chamber and current is passed from the electrode through the electrolyte into a grounded substrate, a deposit of radioactive material is left on the dimple in the substrate.

摘要： The present invention provides, in its principal aspect, compounds of the general formula: where A is —NHCO—, —N(CH3)—CO—, —NHCH2—, —N(CH3)—CH2—, —COCH2—, —CH2CH2—, or —CH(OH)CH2—, X is H, CH3, NH2, NH(CH3), N(CH3)2, OCH3, or SH; R2 is hydrogen or a methyl or ethyl group; R3 is hydrogen or a methyl or ehtyl group; n is 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6; R1 is selected from the group consisting of (a) alkyl; (b) C3 to C8 cycloalkyl; (c) phenyl or substituted phenyl; (d) heterocyclic; (e) decahydronaphthalene and (f) octahydroindane; or R1 and X may be taken together to denote a 5,6 or 6,6 saturated bicycle ring structure. The compounds of the present invention have H3 histamine receptor antagonist activity. This invention also provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier in combination with an effective amount of a compound of formula 1.0. The present invention also provides a method of treating conditions in which antagonism of histamine H3 receptors may of therapeutic importance.

摘要： A sleeping bag has upper and lower portions, an access opening in the upper portion, and a breathing opening in the upper portion adjacent one end of the bag. Overlying and spaced from the breathing opening is a snorkel hood where outgoing exhalation is placed in heat and moisture exchange relation with incoming air so that an individual wholly enclosed within the bag may breathe preheated air having substantial moisture content. A curtain is provided along the upper portion adjacent the access opening for engaging about the upper torso of the individual and with the lower portion of the bag to divide and seal the bag into head and body compartments. In warm and cool weather conditions, the individual may sleep with his head exposed to ambient air. In warm weather conditions, the curtain underlies the upper portion above the individual's torso so that air may circulate into the body compartment. In cool weather conditions, the curtain is engaged about the individual's torso to maintain body warmth in the sealed body compartment. In cold weather conditions, the individual's head and torso lie wholly within the head and body compartments with the curtain drawn about the torso to seal and divide the compartments.
