    Abstract: The organic electroluminescence display device has a circuit board, an element layer which contains an organic electrode luminescence film and a positive electrode and a negative electrode sandwiching the organic electroluminescence film and which is formed on the circuit board, and a sealing film sealing the element layer. The sealing film contains an inorganic layer covering the element layer and an organic layer formed between a part of the element layer and a part of the inorganic layer. The upper surface of the element layer has an inorganic contact area contacting the inorganic layer and an organic contact area contacting the organic layer. The organic contact area is a hollow in the upper surface of the element layer. The area of the upper surface of the organic layer is smaller than the area of the lower surface contacting the inner surface of the hollow.

    Abstract: A bank layer includes projecting portions swollen toward in a thickness direction of a first substrate in an adhesion area. A multi-barrier includes a portion, in which a organic barrier is not disposed, on an upper side of the projecting portions. Therefore, it is possible to obtain, in the adhesion area, a portion in which a first inorganic barrier layer and a second inorganic barrier layer directly come in contact with each other. In an organic EL display device including the multi-barrier formed of an organic material and an inorganic material, it is possible to prevent two facing substrates from being separated from each other.

    Abstract: A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a substrate, a plurality of pixels on the substrate, a first inorganic insulating layer that covers the plurality of pixels, a conductive layer on the first inorganic insulating layer, and a second inorganic insulating layer that on the conductive layer, the conductive layer being between the first inorganic insulating layer and the second inorganic insulating layer, wherein the first inorganic insulating layer includes an area that is in direct contact with the second inorganic insulating layer, and all of the conductive layer is covered with the first inorganic insulating layer and the second inorganic insulating layer.

    Abstract: A display device includes a sealing film covering a display region where an image is displayed, a touch sensor layer configured to detect a touched position of the display region, the touch sensor layer including a first electrode layer that is arranged on the sealing film, a first insulating layer that is formed on the first electrode layer using a material including nitrogen, and a second electrode layer that is arranged over the first insulating layer, an overcoat covering the touch sensor layer, and a polarizing plate being arranged on the overcoat. The touch sensor layer further includes a second insulating layer configured to inhibit a reaction between nitrogen included in the first insulating layer and water included in the overcoat, the second insulating layer being formed between the first insulating layer and the overcoat using a material not including nitrogen.

    Abstract: A display device is provided including a pixel region arranging a plurality of pixels on a planar surface on the first side of a substrate, a sealing layer covering a surface on the opposite side of the substrate side of the pixel region, a first detection electrode extending in a direction on a layer above the pixel region on the side where the sealing layer is provided, and a second detection electrode extending in a direction intersecting with the direction in another layer different from that of the first detection electrode in a layer above the pixel region. The sealing layer including at least an organic resin film, a first inorganic insulating film, and a second inorganic insulating film, the first detection electrode or the second detection electrode is provided above the organic resin layer, the other electrode is provided below the organic resin layer.

    Abstract: An organic electroluminescence display device comprising a plurality of light emitting elements, a sealing film covering the plurality of light emitting elements, and having a top surface which is an inorganic film made of a first inorganic material, a protective film made of an organic material, the protective film covering the sealing film, and a close-fitting layer made of a second inorganic material and located between the top surface of the sealing film and the protective film. The first inorganic material has higher moisture-barrier properties than the second inorganic material, and adhesion between the second inorganic material and the organic material is higher than adhesion between the first inorganic material and the organic material.
