    Abstract: A display device includes a light emitting element and a first optical adjustment member located over the light emitting element and overlapping the light emitting element. An area of an upper surface of the first optical adjustment member is larger than an area of a lower surface of the first optical adjustment member. The display device further includes a second optical adjustment member in contact with a side surface of the first optical adjustment member. A refractive index of the second optical member is smaller than a refractive index of the first optical adjustment member.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method for manufacturing a microlens array includes forming a first resin layer, exposing the first resin layer through a photomask, developing the first resin layer to form a vacant space of the first resin layer, melting the first resin layer to form a first microlens, forming a second resin layer over the first microlens and the vacant space, exposing the second resin layer in a state where a light shielding portion faces the vacant space and a light transmissive portion faces the first microlens, developing the second resin layer, and melting the second resin layer to form a second microlens in contact with the first microlens.

    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal sandwiched between the substrates, and a display region. A hole portion is formed in the display region. A first seal portion is formed to surround the display region. A second seal portion is formed to surround the hole portion. The first and the second seal portions seal the liquid crystal. The second seal portion has a first end portion on the liquid crystal side and a second end portion on the opposite side of the liquid crystal side. A sealing material is present in the first end portion. A sealing material is present in the second end portion. A wall-like spacer is formed between the first and the second end portions to surround the hole portion. The wall-like spacer defines the gap between the first and the second substrates.

    Abstract: In a display apparatus, reflection of external light is reduced in order to improve visible recognition. A first organic insulating film is provided with a contact hole, and the contact hole includes: a pixel electrode being in contact with an inner wall of the contact hole; a capacitance insulating film being in contact with the inner wall of the contact hole and the pixel electrode; a common electrode being in contact with the capacitance insulating film; and a second organic insulating film being in contact with the common electrode and filling the contact hole, that are formed therein. An upper side of the contact hole includes: a conductive film being in contact with the second organic insulating film; and an antireflection film being in contact with the conductive film, that are formed therein.
