Abstract:
The process according to the invention comprises twisting a plastically deformable wire, typically of metal, so that it imprisons fibers within it, with the parts of the fibers projecting from the wire forming bristles in a helicoidal spiral, and of shaving off some of the bristles in predefined angular sectors by using the twisted wire to guide the components causing the total or partial ablation of the bristles.
Abstract:
An assembly of a container/applicator for mascara, includes: along a longitudinal axis, a flask, including a side wall and a distal bottom wall, whose lower surface defines a receiving cavity for a mascara composition, and a proximal neck having an opening, the neck having a draining element and first members for maintaining the assembly in a combined and closed configuration; an applicator, including a stem having a distal brush-supporting section, an intermediate section, and a proximal handling section, and a brush supported by the distal section; a cap provided with second members for maintaining the assembly in the combined and closed configuration; and mixing elements arranged in the receiving cavity, which are capable of being moved axially between the distal bottom wall and the proximal neck. The mixing elements have a generally tubular wall, whose upper and lower surfaces peripherally define a central through-passage for the stem of an applicator.
Abstract:
In order to apply mascara and comb they eyelashes, the invention proposes carrying out a selective, clean and adaptable cutting of the bristles twisted along a core by selecting some of the bristles located, along the wire, in angular sectors of adjustable amplitude and by continuously cutting the bristles thus selected at a predetermined height. The implementing guiding module has a guiding inlet head (69a) and a cylindrical tube body (69c), the head being for bristles remain curved. The cutting (70) and guiding (45) groove formed by an end piece with a conical outline extended by a hollow tube having a central channel (31) of the same diameter, cutting (70) and guiding (45) grooves being formed in the channel. The cutting grooves (70) are distributed longitudinally in order to select the brush bristles to be left untouched, alternating with the grooves (45) for guiding brush bristles to be protected from being cut, the cutting grooves (70) forming, in the tube body, cutting slots (57) and guiding grooves (45) having a depth such that the selected grooves from indentations (45a, 74a) on the end of the end piece. The present invention is mainly applicable to the cosmetic industry.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a liquid spray bottle with combined drive, equipped with a liquid propulsion member (50) that has a main axis of translation (X′X) coupled, on the one hand, to a spray member (9) comprising a nozzle (11) having an axis of diffusion (Y′Y) and, on the other hand, to a container (3) containing the liquid. The spray bottle comprises a rigid casing (1a, 1b; 20a, 20b) which partially surrounds the container (3) and which extends roughly in a main plane (P) containing the axis of translation (X′X), a connecting member (13) connecting the spray head (9) and the casing, and a region (7, 10d) of sliding between the container and the casing, so that manual thrust ( ) exerted laterally on the container in the main plane (P) of the casing causes, through a combination of the action of the sliding ramp (10d) and of the connecting member (13), actuation of the propulsion member (50) to spray the liquid and a movement of the bottle, with respect to the casing, in a pendular movement about an axis of pivoting located near the propulsion member (50) and which, by converting the movement, generates translation along said axis of translation (X′X) to actuate the spraying of the liquid through the nozzle (11).

Abstract:
The present invention includes a box comprising a housing having a height of about 2 millimeters. The housing comprises a bottom portion. The bottom portion defines a bottom surface, an internal lateral flank, and a top bottom surface. The top bottom surface is elevated from the bottom surface, extending from the internal lateral flank. The box also includes a thin film and at least one weld that seals the thin film to the housing.
Abstract:
The invention proposes a precision brushing and combing device, allowing a top-quality, consistent, faultless and industrial implementation. To do this, the invention provides a geometrical bristle structure adjusted with precision distance-wise and angle-wise with respect to a reference, as well as dimension-wise, with mold implementation by wire spark erosion. In an example embodiment, the plastic-injection tool comprises at least one block assembly consisting of several steel plates, at least one row of cavities each intended to form the main portion of a bristle, machined either side of the surface separating two adjacent plates, and a closing-up element, disposed at the end of at least one row of cavities, in order to form the free end surface of the bristles. A space of calibrated thickness is made between the plates forming the main portion of the bristle and the plate or bar forming the free end surface of the bristle, so as to allow the air to escape at the time of the injection whilst avoiding leakage of plastic. An ejection mechanism is provided for extracting the device from the cavity after solidification of the plastic.
Abstract:
In order to enable application of a calibrated dose of product deposited on the brush, the invention proposes an application system whereof the stem, the brush and the stripper have a similar type of profiled shape. A profiled system for applying a cosmetic product comprises an applicator mounted on a stem, and a stripper (32) having an opening (34) through which the applicator passes. The stem is integral with a capsule (12) and the stripper mounted on the neck of a small bottle containing the cosmetic product. The invention is characterized in that the applicator consists of a comb (10) and the stem (14) forms an extension of the comb (10). The stem, the brush and the opening of the stripper have a substantially identical cross-section, whereof the contour includes a protuberance with substantially elongated section in a median plane (P).
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention includes a cover (6) for a packaging for a cosmetic and/or a pharmaceutical composition. The cover (6) comprises means of attachment on a container of the packaging and a sealing wall for sealing an opening of the container (3). The sealing wall is a flexible wall that is elastically deformable by a difference in pressure exerted on its two main sides.
