摘要： A plastic preform includes a hollow body portion including a closed base portion and a lower portion and a lower portion extending upwardly from the closed bottom portion; and a neck portion extending upwardly from the lower portion. The neck portion includes a dispensing opening positioned at a top of the neck portion, threads positioned below the dispensing opening, a tamper-evident formation having a lower surface and positioned directly below the threads, and a support flange having an upper surface and a lower surface and positioned below the tamper-evident formation. In an embodiment, the plastic preform is formed of a material comprising polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and a vertical distance from the lower surface of the tamper-evident formation to the lower surface of the support flange is from 0.125 to 0.150 inches. Containers and methods for molding preforms and making containers are also disclosed.

摘要： A method of forming a coating on a food or beverage container, which includes spraying a coating composition onto an interior surface of the food or beverage container, where the coating composition includes a latex copolymer and a metal drier or crosslinking agent. The latex copolymer is a reaction product of monomers that include (a) one or more styrene-mimicking monomers containing one or more cyclic groups and one or more ethylenically-unsaturated groups, at least a portion of such styrene-mimicking monomers being polycyclic monomers containing ring unsaturation, and (b) one or more other ethylenically-unsaturated monomers. Preferably, the coating composition is substantially free of each of BPA, PVC, other halogenated monomers, and optionally styrene. The method may also include curing the sprayed coating composition, thereby providing the coating on the interior surface of the food or beverage container.

摘要： A carrier tape, cover tape or static shielding bag for transportation of electronic components is constructed of polymers and carbon nanotubes being between 0.01% and 3% by weight. The carbon nanotubes may have any number of walls and any desired size of diameter dimension which is less than approximately 100 nm. The carrier tape, cover tape or bags including the carbon nanotubes have a static dissipative range measured between 1×105 and 1×1012 Ω/sq and a light transmittance value of between 60% and 90%. The carrier tape, cover tape or bags including the carbon nanotubes reduce surface defects, high density entanglements and agglomerations. The static shielding bags including the carbon nanotubes may be formed as sheets which are manufactured into a desired size of bag.

When the infrared absorption spectrum on the surface of the polyester film in 18 directions at intervals of 10° from 0° to 180° is obtained using the total reflection method of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, the ratio (surface orientation degree, Ymax/Ymin) of the maximum value Ymax and the minimum value Ymin of the ratio (Y1340/Y1410) of the absorption peak intensity Y1340 in 1340 cm−1 and the absorption peak intensity Y1410 in 1410 cm−1 in the infrared absorption spectrum is in the range of 1.4-2.7.

The bag body is formed in a bag shape by using laminates each having a sealant layer and a water vapor barrier layer composed at least of a fluorine-based resin, and by bonding together the sealant layers opposing each other so that the sealant layers are to be located on the inside of the bag body. The mouth part member is sandwiched between the oppositely facing sealant layers and is bonded thereto. The volume V of the contained product housed in the bag body is 0.1-20 cm3, and the relation between the area S (cm2) where the bag body is in contact with the contained product housed in the bag body and the aforementioned volume V (cm3) satisfies 0.05≤V/S≤0.25 (formula (I)).
