Abstract:
A paging group network includes multiple paging groups formed by areas covered by base stations (BSs). The paging group network further includes an anchor paging controller (PC) and a relay PC. The anchor paging controller initiates a page to a mobile station (MS), addresses the paging group in which the MS is located, and stores status information about the MS in a corresponding location register (LR). The relay PC manages the paging groups. A method for updating MS locations is also provided. Thereby, the present invention optimizes the paging and location updating processes, and reduces the complexity of managing the idle mode.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method, a system and apparatus of realizing indicating resource of MBS. The method comprises: a Down Link-MAP (DL-MAP) message sent by a Base Station (BS) carries resource information associated Multicast and Broadcast Service (MBS); receiving the DL-MAP message sent by BS, Mobile station (MS) judges whether the service information associated with MBS comprised in this message is identical to that reserved by the MS itself, if yes, the MS determines the physical channel resource occupied by MBS according to the resource information which is associated with MBS and carried in this message. The present invention also discloses another method of realizing indicating resource of MBS. The present invention solves the problem that the prior art cannot directly perform resource indication upon multicast service. Through the scheme of the present invention, position of the physical channel resource occupied by the MBS-MAP message corresponding to multicast service can be determined, and various specific positioning measures are provided thereof.
Abstract:
A method for network logout for a mobile station (MS) in IDLE mode. The method includes performing network logout upon the MS by a network side, releasing the resources associated with the MS and deleting the context of the MS. A system for network logout for a mobile station in IDLE mode. MS location update procedures, conducted by the network side, in various situations enables the paging controller or other network entity to delete the context of the MS and also provides network logout processing in the scenarios when the network resources are in congestion, the location update of the network side times out and the network side varies with the service policy.
Abstract:
A method for paging an idle MS includes: a PC sends a Paging Announce message to the BS, starts a timer and sets a paging count threshold; the BS pages the MS; if no paging response is received from the MS before expiry of the timer, the PC compares the number of times of paging with the set paging count threshold, and re-sends the Paging Announce message or cancels the paging operation, according to the comparison result. A method for stopping paging to an idle MS includes: a BS in a PG pages an MS, and a network side sends a paging stop message to at least one other BS; and at least one other BS stops the paging process. A paging includes a central processing unit for setting a paging count threshold and judging whether a paging response is received.
Abstract:
A method and system for negotiating interface data path establishment is provided in the invention, including: making a decision, by Target ASN-GW, on whether to establish an R4 data path or an redirect R3 data path, and sending a corresponding request to the Anchor ASN-GW according to the decision; and determining a negotiation result, by the Anchor ASN-GW, according to the corresponding request from the Target ASN-GW, or the corresponding request from the Target ASN-GW and a local decision, and returning a reply to the Target ASN-GW according to the negotiation result. In this way, the R3 data path is redirected if either the Target ASN-GW or the Anchor ASN-GW determines to redirect the R3 data path; and an R4 data path is established only if both the Target ASN-GW and the Anchor ASN-GW determine to establish the R4 data path.
Abstract:
The AAA server generates and delivers a new HA-RK before expiry of the old HA-RK, thus eliminating the time gap between expiry of the old HA-RK and obtaining of the new HA-RK and making the MIP registration seamless. In the system, if the remaining lifetime of the old HA-RK is less than or equal to the lifecycle of the MSK in the EAP process, a new HA-RK is delivered; otherwise, no new HA-RK needs to be delivered. If both a new HA-RK and an old HA-RK are valid on the network entity at a time, then only the old HA-RK applies and the new HA-RK is not active until expiry of the old HA-RK. Alternatively, both the new HA-RK and the old HA-RK are active concurrently, and are differentiated by an SPI.
Abstract:
A communication method and system for terminal entering and leaving idle mode in a mobile communication system are disclosed. The communication method for a terminal entering an idle mode includes: triggering a flow of entering the idle mode for the terminal; and a serving access service network gateway sending the information of anchor function entities serving the terminal to an anchor function entity information storing unit, so as to store the information. With the technical scheme of the invention, when the anchor function entities serving the terminal are not located at the same physical entity, the addressing process can be accomplished correctly, and the smoothness of the network service flow can be guaranteed.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method as regards how a network side gets a MSS into the idle mode in a wireless MAN, including: the PA/BS sends a DREG_CMD to the MSS; the MSS sends a DREG_REQ message to the PA/BS, according to the DREG_CMD message, requesting to enter the idle mode; the PA/BS releases the link of the MSS and updates the data of the anchor PC/LR after receiving the DREG_REQ message. The present invention specifies the process of a MSS entering the idle mode initiated by the network and the settings of relevant parameters, thus enhancing the stability of the process of entering the idle mode and saving the system resources.
Abstract:
An alkaline electrochemical cell capable of providing optimum run times at both high drain rates and low drain rates is disclosed. In one embodiment, the cell's gelled anode incorporates a limited quantity of zinc powder having specific physical characteristics that enable it to discharge efficiently over a wide range of electrical discharge conditions. The anode may also include an electrolyte that is selected to improve the zinc's discharge efficiency.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for shifting functional entity in WiMAX network is disclosed. A functional entity at the network side is set to be master functional entity or slave functional entity. The method includes: setting a binding relationship between a master functional entity and at least one slave functional entity; triggering the master functional entity to shift, combining a context of the slave functional entity bound with the master functional entity and a context of the master functional entity to form a context message that is required by the master functional entity for the shift, and forwarding the context message according to the course of shifting the master functional entity.
