    摘要: A belt clamping apparatus is provided for a seat belt system comprising a belt retractor and a device which is controlled by at least one acceleration sensor and serves to lock gears which are connected to the reel shaft of the belt retractor. The clamping apparatus comprises a clamping wedge, which is guided on a sliding surface that is fixed to a housing to move parallel to a back-pressure plate which is fixed to the housing, and together with the clamping wedge defines a gap for the passage of the belt, and an actuating member, which is movable by the locking device and displaces the clamping wedge to its clamping position. The actuating member is rotatably connected at one end to the housing and is pivoted at its other end to the clamping wedge, when the belt is being extracted further after the gears have been blocked by the actuating member in response to the movement of the reel shaft and imparts a translational movement to the clamping wedge. A spring element is provided between the clamping wedge and a stop which is fixed to the housing. The clamping wedge consists of one arm of a two-armed lever, the other arm of which constituted a spring abutment, and the spring-loaded arm holds the clamping wedge in engagement with the sliding surface which is fixed to the housing.

    摘要: A sensor has a housing, in which there is arranged a thermosetting molding compound which is encapsulated in a linear region in the longitudinal direction of the housing by a thermoplastic molding compound. The two molding compounds meet at a conical contact surface. An electrical terminal element is electrically connected to a printed-circuit board via lines. The printed-circuit board is embedded into the two molding compounds at the level of the center line, the thermosetting molding compound enclosing all the electrically active components and conductor tracks of the printed-circuit board. Annular grooves are arranged on the outer side of the thermosetting molding compound. Due to the encapsulation, the thermoplastic molding compound engages in these annular grooves in a positively and non-positively engaging manner. The groove arrangement has the advantage that effective sealing is ensured both when there is an increase in the temperature and when there is a decrease in the temperature of the sensor, since either the one groove surfaces or the other groove surfaces provide effective sealing on account of the respectively differing material expansion of the two molding compounds.

    摘要: An acceleration sensor for safety systems such as seat belt systems in motor vehicles, particularly so-called buckle-connected tighteners, comprises a sensor mass which is generally held in a position of rest but is capable of displacement in response to a predetermined critical acceleration to activate the safety system. In one embodiment, an inertial force sensor consists of a sensor lever pivoted to a part fixed in the vehicle, said sensor lever carries at its upwardly protruding free end an inertial mass, preferably in the form of an enlarged head, the sensor lever being held by a spring which urges said sensor lever toward its vertical stand-by position, and being connected by levers and/or links to a release mechanism for releasing a spring-loaded tie rod or the like or a blocking device. According to another feature, the sensor mass is journaled to a housing with the journal ends protruding from opposite housing walls and being received within hat-shaped caps which in turn are held in place by compression springs when the sensor mass is in its position of rest. The activation could be accomplished electrically by a microswitch.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for separating titanium tetrachloride and the hydrolyzed reaction products of titanium tetrachloride from the exhaust gases generated during the chlorination of raw materials containing titanium by treating the exhaust gases with a first aqueous hydrochloric-acid solution of titanium oxychloride, where, in the first separation stage (2), small droplets of hydrochloric-acid titanium oxychloride solution (3) are flowed with the exhaust gas flow, and larger droplets of hydrochloric-acid titanium oxychloride solution are flowed counter current to the exhaust to remove the smaller droplets and ensure that virtually no droplets are carried to a second separation stage. In the second separation stage, a second titanium oxychloride solution is injected into a second reactor (9), the second solution having a lower titanium oxychloride concentration than that injected in the first separation stage. The method results in a lower pressure loss in the scrubber system, while retaining the same separation efficiency.

    摘要: A passenger seat for motor vehicle has a seat member and a backrest. A first side air bag is integrated into the seat member and the backrest for lateral impact protection in an accident. Upon activation the first side air bag is inflated and emerges from the seat member and the backrest so as to bridge laterally the space between the seat member and the backrest. The first side air bag is a hose having an initial diameter and an initial length, wherein upon inflation the initial diameter increases and the initial length shortens. The hose is connected with a first end to a fastening point at a forward portion of seat member and with a second end to a fastening point at an upper portion of the backrest.
