摘要: A pre-tensioner for a safety belt of vehicles is provided. The pre-tensioner for a safety belt of a vehicle that is disposed in a side sill of the vehicle and that operates to pull the safety belt by pushing a piston into a tube by a high pressure gas of a gas generator using explosive power of gunpowder that is configured at one side of a bracket in a state in which the piston is connected to the safety belt through a wire within the tube including: internal and external weldnuts that are fixed to each one side of internal and external side surfaces of the side sill, wherein by penetrating the side sill in a vehicle width direction by forming a screw at an external circumference of both end portions of the tube, the both end portions are engaged with the internal and external weldnuts, respectively.

摘要: A belt retractor with a belt spool rotatably mounted in a frame comprises an integrated force limiter, which has a metal band with a first end connected to the belt spool, and a control part rotatably mounted relative to the belt spool, said control part being able to be locked stationary on the frame by a locking mechanism, said metal band having a second end connected to said control part, said metal band being led through a baffle which is fixed to said control part, and on exceeding of a determined traction force in the belt webbing, said metal band is pulled through said baffle and is thereby plastically deformed. To make the level of the traction force adjustable, on the exceeding of which the deformation of the metal band occurs and hence the force limitation becomes effective, the baffle member has at least one selectively adjustable deflection element the relative position of which with respect to directions in which said metal band extends, defines a level of traction force where said band is pulled through said baffle.

摘要: A vehicle seat belt retractor (10) includes a spool (170) on which seat belt webbing (16) is wound. The spool (170) is supported for rotation on hubs (102, 162). In the event a primary belt locking mechanism (270) fails to block withdrawal of belt webbing (16) from the retractor (10) in a vehicle emergency situation, the spool (170) moves into engagement with a series of fixed teeth (60, 70) on the retractor frame (40) to block rotation of the spool in the belt withdrawal direction (192). Barbs (130, 168) on the hubs (102, 162) cooperate with blocking members (120, 166) to maintain the spool (170) in its blocked condition after termination of the emergency situation.

摘要: A vehicle seat belt retractor (10) includes a spool (170) on which seat belt webbing (16) is wound. The spool (170) is supported for rotation on hubs (102, 162). In a vehicle emergency, an actuator (230) rotates with the spool (170) and transmits force through first and second link arms (312, 314) to a belt webbing clamp mechanism (270) to block the withdrawal of belt webbing (16) from the retractor (10). In the event the primary belt locking mechanism (270) is unable to block the withdrawal of belt webbing (16) from the retractor (10), the spool (170) continues to rotate. The first link arm (312) moves relative to the second link arm (314) to enable the actuator (230) to continue to rotate, actuating a secondary belt locking mechanism (200, 178), without damaging parts of the retractor (10).

摘要: In a blocking device for a safety belt having a belt retractor, which carries a belt reel for winding and unwinding the safety belt and has a control wheel controlled in a safety belt-sensitive and/or vehicle-sensitive manner and a control plate controlled thereby for triggering blocking of the belt reel, a self-blocking action of the belt retractor is to be cancelled by a single pull on the safety belt. On the control plate a pilot pawl is supported, which is rotatable by the movement of the control plate and which, during the blocking sequence, before the latter reaches its disengaged position, holds the control plate securely in such an intermediate position that a subsequent relative movement between the control wheel and the control plate is possible. This results in the cancellation of the self-blocking action and the return of the relevant structural parts into their respective initial position.

摘要: In the seat belt retractor of the invention, the main pawl 17 turns into engagement with the teeth 23a of the lock ring 23, so that the rotational force of the reel shaft in the webbing unwinding direction is transmitted to the lock ring 23 to turn it in the same direction . This rotation of the lock ring 23 is transmitted to the clamp member 26 through the arm 24 to turn the clamp member 26. As a result, the webbing 3 is fastened between the clamp member 26 and the force-bearing member 27, so that the webbing 3 can be locked against further unwinding. This makes it possible to incorporate clamp means to even a frame lock type of seat belt retractor, and improves the reliability of part engagement much more.

摘要: A webbing clamp assembly (10) for blocking movement of belt webbing (18) in a vehicle occupant restraint system includes first and second clamp members (70, 72) having first and second clamping surfaces (76, 86). The clamping surfaces (76, 86) define between them a passage (90) through which the belt webbing (18) is movable in a belt withdrawal direction (20). An initiator member (120) has a first portion (130) movable into engagement with the belt webbing (18) to couple the initiator member (120) for movement with the belt webbing (18) in the first direction (20). The webbing clamp assembly (10) includes an actuator (30, 42) for moving the initiator member first portion (130) into engagement with the belt webbing (18). The initiator member (120) has a portion (122) engageable with the first clamp member (70) to move the first clamp member (70) from a released condition to an engaged condition and thereby clamp the belt webbing (18) when the belt webbing (18) and the initiator member (120) move in the first direction (20). The initiator member portion (122) extends through an opening (82) in the first clamp member (70).
