Abstract: A plasma display panel (PDP) comprises: a front substrate and a rear substrate which face each other; and a barrier wall which is interposed between the front substrate and the rear substrate, which includes base portions arranged on either side of a main discharge space, and protruding portions protruding on the base portions, respectively, and which defines stepped spaces on either side of the main discharge space. The stepped spaces are formed according to stepped surfaces formed by the base portions and the protruding portions. The PDP further comprises a pair of a scan electrode and a sustain electrode which generate a mutual discharge through the main discharge space. A channel space is defined by outer walls of the protruding portions on either side of the main discharge space, and an external light absorbing layer covers the channel space.

Abstract: A plasma display panel (PDP) having high driving efficiency obtained by improving an address voltage margin; having high image quality obtained by removing noisy brightness such as discharge light generated when an address discharge occurs or background light; and suitable for an image display with high efficiency and high resolution. The PDP includes a plurality of first barrier ribs between a first substrate and a second substrate, the first barrier ribs defining a plurality of unit cells; and a plurality of second barrier ribs dividing each of the unit cells into a main discharge space and an auxiliary discharge space. A row of the auxiliary discharge spaces is adjacent and between two rows of the main discharge spaces. The PDP also includes a phosphor layer in the main discharge spaces; and a plurality of grooves in the second barrier ribs between the main discharge spaces and the auxiliary discharge spaces.

Abstract: A roll blind includes: a safety cord connected to and wound around a chain pulley adapted to rotate the winding rod, the safety cord having a separated lower end so that one side defines a lowering cord for pulling down the blind material and the other side defines a raising cord for rolling up the blind material; a bidirectional clutch unit adapted to raise/lower the blind material, the bidirectional clutch unit being positioned between the chain pulley and a driving shaft of the winding rod, the bidirectional clutch unit having bidirectional protrusions formed on an inner peripheral surface of the chain pulley at an identical interval in a circumferential direction so that, when the lowering or raising cord is pulled, the winding rod rotates together with the chain pulley, the bidirectional clutch unit having a number of rollers positioned between respective bidirectional protrusions.

Abstract: A dual roll blind system is able to adjust a light shading rate or extent and comprises a winding roll which includes a roll casing rotatably supported between both side plates of a ceiling bracket; a driving winding roll which includes a moving member disposed between both side plates in parallel with the winding roll and is thread-engaged with a screw shaft rotating by means of a blind winding device of one side, a straight moving member which is provided for left and right straight movements by restricting the rotation of the moving member, and a roll casing engaged with the moving member and the straight moving member; a first blind material of which upper end is fixed at the winding roll and in which a light transmission part and a light non-transmission part having constant widths are alternately formed in a width wise direction; a second blind material of which upper end is fixed at the driving winding roll and which has a light transmission part and a light non-transmission part corresponding to the first blind material and is movable left and right; and a counterweight bar which fixes a lower end of the first blind material with a lower end of the second blind material being slidably inserted into the counterweight bar in a parallel direction.

Abstract: A plasma display panel (PDP) includes: a front substrate facing a rear substrate; first and second discharge enhancement layers disposed between the front and rear substrates and arranged on both sides of a main discharge space; first and second barrier ribs respectively formed on the first and second discharge enhancement layers and defining first and second asymmetric stepped spaces along with the first and second discharge enhancement layers; a scan electrode and a common electrode inducing a mutual discharge in the main discharge space; an address electrode generating an address discharge along with the scan electrode and extending in a direction to intersect the scan electrode; a phosphor layer formed in at least the main discharge space; and a discharge gas filled in the main discharge space and the first and second stepped spaces. Abstract: A roll blind with a single safety cord is provided in which an ascending cord and a descending cord configured to ascend and descend a blind sheet are integrated in a single safety cord. When it needs to descend a blind sheet, the single safety cord is pulled forward, and the clutches are disengaged, so the blind sheet can be fast descended. When it needs to ascend the blind sheet, the single safety cord is repeatedly pulled right downward, the blind sheet can be easily ascended. Once the single safety cord is pulled downward, it can be automatically returned to its original position based on an origin position ascending and returning function, so a user can easily ascend the blind sheet. The single safety cord is made shorter and is positioned higher where a kid's hand does not reach, so it is possible to prevent a kid or a weak person from choking or stumbling over and falling down.
