    摘要： A golf ball includes a solid core, an intermediate layer, and a cover having dimples formed therein. The core has a Shore D hardness at the surface of 30-48, the intermediate layer has a Shore D hardness of 53-60, and the cover has a higher Shore D hardness of 55-65. In the cover, 370 to 450 dimples of at least two types having different diameters and/or depths are distributed so as to cover at least 63% of the ball surface. The index Dst of the overall dimple surface area is at least 4. The golf ball provides significantly improved flight distance and a good feel by virtue of a good balance in hardness and optimized dimple characteristics.

    摘要： A multi-piece solid golf ball comprising a core including an inner sphere and a surrounding layer and a cover enclosing the core and consisting of inner and outer cover layers is provided. The inner sphere has a hardness A expressed by a distortion of 3.5-10.0 mm under a load of 100 kg which is lowest among the ball layers. The outer cover layer has a hardness of at least 58 degrees on Shore D which is highest among the ball layers. Provided that the ball has a hardness B expressed by a distortion under a load of 100 kg, the ratio A/B is between 1.1/1 and 4.0/1. The ball has adequate spin receptivity, good flying performance, durability and a pleasant feel. Less dependence on head speed allows the ball to offer a satisfactory carry to low head speed players.

A weight (W) of the golf ball and an inertia moment (MI) thereof satisfy a relationship of 1.53×W+13.32≦MI≦1.61×W+11.02.
