Abstract:
A protection cover for a connector includes a non-conductive installing block. The installation block defines a number of positioning holes and a receiving slot. Some pins of the connector are inserted into the positioning holes, and other pins of the connector are received in the receiving slot.
Abstract:
A mounting device for fixing a fan having two opposite boards includes a base board and a number of fixing members mounted to outer surfaces of the boards. The base board forms a number of rods. Each fixing member includes a top plate, and a spring fitted about one of the rods and sandwiched between the base board and the top plate. The top plate defines a fixing hole to fit about the corresponding rod.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes an air dam module. The air dam module includes a frame, a first rotating member, and a second rotating member. The frame defines a vent. The first rotating member is rotatably received in the vent, to vertically block a lower half of the vent by due to gravity. The second rotating member is rotatably received in the vent, to vertically block an upper half of the vent by due to gravity.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes an air dam module. The air dam module includes a frame defining a vent, a first rotating member, a second rotating member, and two third rotating members. The first rotating member is rotatably connected to a surface bounding the vent, to vertically block a lower half of the vent by its gravity. The second rotating member is rotatably connected to the surface bounding the vent. The third rotating members are rotatably connected to opposite ends of the second rotating member. The second and third rotating members vertically block an upper half of the vent by their gravities.
Abstract:
A fastening device for a hard disk drive (HDD) includes two fastening members and a bottom plate. Each fastening member includes a sidewall, and a top wall and a bottom wall perpendicularly extending from opposite sides of the sidewall. The top walls are fastened to a bottom of the HDD. An engaging hole is defined in each bottom wall. The engaging hole includes a first hole and a second hole. A positioning tab extends from one of the fastening members. A block is formed on the positioning tab. Two protrusions protrude from the bottom plate. A positioning portion is formed on the bottom plate. The HDD is operable to slide to allow the protrusions to engage in the first holes. The positioning tab extends through a through hole bounded by the positioning portion and bottom plate, to allow the block to be blocked by the positioning portion.
Abstract:
A fan module is detachably mounted in a chassis. The chassis includes a sidewall defining a locking slot. The fan module includes a bracket including a base plate defining a first through slot, a fan fixed to the base plate, a fan duct fixed to the base plate beside the fan, and a locking member. The fan duct includes a side plate defining a second through slot. The locking member is fixed to the fan duct. The locking member includes a locking portion extending through the second through slot of the fan duct and the first through slot of the bracket to lock into the locking slot of the chassis.
Abstract:
A fixing apparatus for a fan includes a bottom wall, and a fixing member for fixing the fan. The bottom wall forms two fixing portions and a block. The fixing member includes a plate defining a through hole, and a latch extending from a side of the board. The through hole includes a first hole and a second hole communicating with the first hole. The second hole is less than the first hole in size. A blocking piece perpendicularly extends up from a distal end of the latch. The fixing member is slidably mounted to the bottom wall, and the fixing portion extends through the first hole and then engages in the second hole. The blocking piece is blocked by a rear surface of the block.
Abstract:
A fixing device for fixing a fan includes a support and a number of fastening members. The fan includes a sidewall defining a number of fixing holes. The support includes a fixing plate defining a vent area and a number of slots located around the vent area. Each fastening member comprising an abutting portion detachably engaging in the corresponding slot, a stopping portion protruding from a first end of the abutting portion, and a latching portion extending out from a second end of the abutting portion opposite to the stopping portion. Each latching portion is latched into a corresponding one of the fixing hole of the fan, the stopping portion is abutted against an outer surface of the fixing plate distant from the fan.
Abstract:
A fixing device for fixing a fan includes a support and a number of fastening members. The fan includes two opposite sidewalls each defining a number of fixing holes. The support includes a fixing plate defining a vent area and a number of slots located around the vent area. Each fastening member includes a sleeve member and an inserting member. The sleeve member is inserted into the corresponding slot of the fixing plate and extended through the corresponding fixing hole of one of the sidewalls of the fan. The inserting member is extended through the corresponding fixing hole of the other sidewall of the fan, to engage with the sleeve. A first block protrudes from the sleeve to abut against the fixing plate. A second block protrudes from the inserting pole to abut against the other sidewall of the fan.
Abstract:
A serial advanced technology attachment dual-in-line memory module (SATA DIMM) assembly includes a SATA DIMM module with a circuit board and a cable member. A first edge connector is set on a bottom edge of the circuit board to be connected to a memory slot of a motherboard. A second edge connector is arranged on an end of the circuit board. The cable member includes a cable, a first storage device interface extending from a first end of the cable to be connected to a second storage device interface of the motherboard, and a third edge connector formed on a second end of the cable and soldered to the second edge connector.
