    摘要: A flow or level switch comprises a sensor/switch assembly which is adapted for mounting in connection with either a fitting having an offset defining a channel to detect fluid flow through an orifice into the channel or a tank having a ball float to detect the level of the ball float in the tank. A switch module comprises a control rod which reciprocates and activates a switch unit having a bi-positionable contact member. A follower, which may be in the form of an axle with an angularly fixed projection, engages the control rod to cause the contact member to move.

    摘要: A wellhead test system comprising: i) a Coriolis mass flow meter configured to receive a flow of a liquid; ii) a water analyzer configured to receive the flow of the liquid; and iii) a controller coupled to the Coriolis mass flow meter and the water analyzer. The controller receives from the Coriolis mass flow meter at least one of: mass flow measurement data, mass density measurement data, and drive gain and also receives from the water analyzer at least one of water frequency measurement data, oil frequency measurement data, and insertion loss measurement data. The controller determines a gas volume fraction (GVF) value and modifies the operation of the Coriolis mass flow meter and the water analyzer based on the GVF value.

    摘要: A visual sight flexible gas flow indicator has a truncated conical sleeve formed of flexible water repellent material tapered along its length from a larger diameter throat end to a smaller diameter exit end defining an interior. A threaded fitting secured to the throat end has an interior in fluid communication with the sleeve interior and is configured to be threadedly engaged in fluid flow communication with a conduit or bleeder valve of a vessel or piping system through which a gas to be monitored flows. The sleeve hangs flaccidly in a generally vertical position when no gas is flowing through the fitting and sleeve from the conduit or valve. Upon gas flowing through the fitting and sleeve from the conduit or valve, the sleeve becomes fully extended in a generally horizontal position to provide an external visual indication, from a distance, of gas flow and location of the leaking gas.

    摘要: In a vortex chamber flow meter, a bearingless annular rotor rotates about an axis in a cylindrical operating chamber. The chamber is enclosed in a jet ring within a meter housing. Liquid enters the housing and flows to a plurality of circumferentially spaced ports in the jet ring, directing flow through conduits into the vortex operating chamber tangentially. Liquid flow exits the vortex chamber axially through a central aperture. Optical sensing means respond to markings on the surface of a rotor moving past a selected position. The meter is constructed to effectively offset the entry of the liquid into the vortex chamber. The centerlines of the ports define a plane which is positioned to be off center from a plane bisecting the vortex chamber in the axial degree of freedom. The offset is in an axial direction away from the exit.

An electronic feedback circuit associated with the mass flow sensor has the effect of allowing for fast response time despite the use of a high Q vibrator and allows for electronic calibration of the device.
