    Abstract: An ink ejecting device includes: a head that ejects ink from a plurality of nozzles arranged along a Y-axis direction parallel to a direction in which a recording medium is conveyed; an X-axis moving mechanism that moves the head in an X-axis direction orthogonal to the Y-axis direction on the horizontal plane; a control unit that performs scanning in which the head is moved in the X-axis direction and that causes the head to eject ink during the scanning; and a Z-axis moving mechanism that moves the head in a Z-axis direction orthogonal to the Y-axis and X-axis directions.

    Abstract: A printing device (100) is provided with: a conveyance device (3) that performs a conveyance operation in which a feeding operation to feed a recording medium (7) and suspension of the feeding operation are repeated; a plate device (2); and an ink ejection device (1). The ink ejection device (1) performs a scan to move a head (8) when the feeding operation is suspended. The conveyance device (3) performs the feeding operation once each time one scan is completed, and is configured to change the amount by which the recording medium (7) is fed by one feeding operation.

    Abstract: The head (8) of an ink discharge device (1) discharges ink into a recording medium being conveyed. A movement unit (12) moves the head (8) in the height direction (Z-axis direction) when the printing surface of the recording medium is set as the front surface. A controller (10) sets a discharge time gap, which is the gap between the nozzle (81) and the printing surface during ink discharge, in accordance with the image to be printed and the recording medium. The controller (10) causes the movement unit (12) to move the head in the Z-axis direction so as to reach the set discharge interval.

    Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a main body, a post-printing processing device, and a paper exit part. The main body forms an image on paper. The post-printing processing device is located above the main body and performs post-printing processing on paper. The paper exit part is located on a side surface of the post-printing processing device. Paper is ejected to the paper exit part. The post-printing processing device includes a paper inlet port and a conveyance device. The paper inlet port is located in a rear part of a lower surface of the post-printing processing device. The conveyance device conveys paper conveyed via the paper inlet port into the post-printing processing device in a forward direction thereof to a paper loading tray and conveys the paper therefrom leftward to eject the paper to the paper exit part located on the left side of the post-printing processing device.

    Abstract: A sheet cassette (1) includes a first sheet accommodation section (3), a second sheet accommodation section (5), and a restricting section (7). The restricting section (7) includes a lever section (70), a first engagement section (38a), and a second engagement section (78a). The lever section (70) is shiftable between a first engaged position, a second engaged position, and a disengaged position. The first engaged position is a position where a distal end portion (76) protrudes from a sheet loading surface (F2) of a second bottom (50) with no sheets loaded on the second bottom (50), and the first engagement section (38a) and the second engagement section (78a) are in engagement. The second engaged position is a position where the distal end portion (76) is pushed down out of the first engaged position in accordance with the number of sheets loaded on the second bottom (50), and the first engagement section (38a) and the second engagement section (78a) are in engagement. The disengaged position is a position where the engagement between the first engagement section (38a) and the second engagement section (78a) is released. Strength of the engagement between the first engagement section (38a) and the second engagement section (78a) is larger when the lever section (70) is in the second engaged position than when the lever section (70) is in the first engaged position.
