Abstract: A monitoring system includes a first imaging device, a controller, storage, and a notifying section. The first imaging device captures an image of a first imaging area to generate first captured image data indicating a first captured image. The controller detects the events based on the first captured image data. The storage stores data indicating a first flag and a second flag. The events include a pre-event and a post-event detected after the pre-event has ended. The post-event indicates a detection target removal act for a detection target placed in the first imaging area. The controller changes the first flag from the off state to an on state upon detecting the pre-event, holds the first flag in the on state even after the pre-event has ended, changes the second flag from the off state to the on state upon detecting the post-event, and notifies of consecutive event occurrence information.

Abstract: A monitoring system includes an imaging device and a control device. The control device includes a device communication section, a device controller, and device storage. The device controller includes an assignment section and a count section. The imaging device captures an image of an imaging area to generate captured image data indicating the captured image. The device controller acquires the captured image data from the imaging device through the device communication section. The assignment section assigns a plurality of candidate detection ranges to the captured image. The count section counts the number of occurrences of a specific event in each of the candidate detection ranges. The device storage stores therein the number of occurrences of the specific event in association with each of the candidate detection ranges.

Abstract: A management system includes an electronic device, a plurality of image pickup devices, a storage unit, and a server. A first control unit in the server detects an image portion indicating a face of a person in a captured image, collates the detected image portion to face images stored in the storage unit, and specifies, as a person inside a building, a person whose face image is identical to the image portion. When an error is detected in the electronic device, a second control unit in the electronic device specifies, among persons specified by the first control unit, a person whom error handling capability information stored in the storage section indicated as capable of handling the error, obtains, among the captured images captured by the plurality of the image pickup devices, a captured image showing the specified person, and allows a display to display the obtained captured image.

Abstract: In a room occupant monitoring system, if any ID information stored in a personal data storage section matches ID information on an entry applicant acquired from an ID storage medium by an information acquisition section and a number of room occupants detected based on results of permission for room entry and exit has reached a maximum number of persons detectable from a monitoring camera's video, a control unit of a server compares degrees of priority, which are stored in a storage section of the server, between the entry applicant and all the room occupants and (i) refuses permission for the entry applicant having a lower degree of priority than all the room occupants to enter the room or, (ii) if there is any room occupant having a lower degree of priority than the entry applicant, performs room exit request processing for requesting the lower-degree-of-priority room occupant to leave the room.
