The liquid crystal layer accommodated in a liquid crystal space is sandwiched between transparent first and second substrates, comprising a first substrate side and a second substrate side. The photo sensor overlies the first substrate side. The color filter disposed in the liquid crystal space, over the photo sensor. The color filter comprises a first opening exposing portions of the photo sensor. The light-shielding element is disposed alongside portions of a periphery of the photo sensor.

The readout pixel includes the fundamental elements as the normal pixel, and further includes a photo sensing element with a second switching element and a third switching element for generating a photo signal. The second switching element includes a second gate electrode connecting to a gate line, a second drain electrode, and a second source electrode connecting to a readout line. The third switching element includes a third gate electrode and a third drain electrode both connecting to a reference voltage, and a third source electrode connecting to the second drain electrode.

摘要： A scanning method for determining the touch position of a touch input apparatus is disclosed. First of all, a first exposure process on light sensors of the touch input apparatus by light emitting device of the touch input apparatus is performed. Then the light sensors are scanned. A light sensor generating a signal with a maximum value is located. A region of partial scan of the light sensors is determined according to the position of the light sensor generating the signal with the maximum value. A second exposure process is performed on the light sensors. Then the light sensors within the region of partial scan are scanned. A light sensor generating a signal with a maximum value within the region of partial scan is located and a next region of partial scan is determined. The maximum value of the signal is calculated and the maximum value of the signal is compared to a predetermined value to determine whether the maximum value is higher than the predetermined value.

摘要： An optical touch apparatus is disclosed herein. The touch apparatus includes an infrared ray laser transmitting module, two infrared ray detective modules and a system controlling module. The infrared ray laser transmitting module is configured to generate an infrared ray laser light and the two infrared ray detective modules are configured to respectively detect the reflective infrared ray light reflected from a touch object. The system controlling module will receive the detective result from the infrared ray detective module so as to determine the coordinate location of the touch object.

摘要： A liquid crystal display panel having a display area comprises a first substrate, a second substrate, a sealant, a liquid crystal layer, and a light-shielding layer. The sealant is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate. The liquid crystal layer is disposed in a space defined by the first substrate, the second substrate and the sealant. The light shielding layer is disposed on a first outer surface of the first substrate or a second outer surface of the second substrate, wherein the light shielding layer and the display area are not overlapped. In addition, the liquid crystal display panel further comprises a protection layer. Since the protection layer encapsulates the light-shielding layer, out-diffusion of dye within the light-shielding layer is effectively prevented.

摘要： The present invention relates to a layout for antenna loops having both functions of capacitance induction and electromagnetic induction, and particularly relates to the layout for antenna loops having both functions of capacitance induction and electromagnetic induction, wherein the capacitance detection elements are integrated with the antenna loops. In this layout for antenna loops, each of the antenna loops therein is separated into three sections, and there are several geometric structures fabricated in two of these sections. These geometric structures are capacitance detection elements. Therefore, the two sections are directly fabricated to be the capacitance detection elements because of these geometric structures. By this way, the antenna loops can be integrated with the capacitance detection elements and the capacitance detection elements do not prevent the antenna loops from receiving the electromagnetic signals.
