    摘要: A radiation generating apparatus has a radiation generating tube held in a holding container 12 and a cooling medium between the holding container and the radiation generating tube. The radiation generating tube includes an envelope with an aperture, an electron emitting source arranged in the envelope, a target arranged facing the source, for generating radiation responsive to irradiation with an electron beam emitted from the source, and a tubular shield for holding the target by an inner wall thereof and shielding part of the radiation emitted from the target. The shield is arranged to protrude outward of the envelope so that the target is positioned on an outer side of the aperture, and the cooling medium contacts at least a part of the shield.

    摘要: In an X-ray generation apparatus of transmission type including an electron passage surrounded by and formed in an electron passage forming member, and generating an X-ray by colliding electrons having passed through the electron passage against a target, wherein the electron passage includes a secondary X-ray generation portion that generates an X-ray with collision of electrons reflected by the target against the secondary X-ray generation portion, the secondary X-ray generation portion and the target are arranged such that the X-ray generated with direct collision of the electrons against the target and the X-ray generated with the collision of the electrons reflected by the target against the secondary X-ray generation portion are both radiated to an outside, and an atomic number of a material of the electron passage forming member is larger than that of the target. X-ray generation efficiency is increased by effectively utilizing the electrons reflected by the target.

    摘要: A radiation generating apparatus includes: an envelope 1 having a first window 2 through which a radiation is transmitted; and a radiation tube 10 being held within the envelope 1, and having a second window 15 which is arranged in opposition to the first window 2, and through which the radiation is transmitted; and a radiation shielding member 16 thermally connected to the second window 15, having a radiation transmitting hole 21 arranged in communication with the second window 15, and having a protruding portion protruding from the second window 15 toward the first window 2. A thermal conducting member 17 having a higher thermal conductivity rather than that of the radiation shielding member 16 is connected to the protruding portion of the radiation shielding member 16. The radiation generating apparatus can shield an unnecessary radiation and cool a target with a simple structure and is entirely reduced in weight.

A thermally conductive member 17 having a higher thermal conductivity rather than that of the radiation shielding member 16 is connected to the protruding portion of the radiation shielding member 16. The radiation generating apparatus can shield an unnecessary radiation and cool a target with a simple structure and is entirely reduced in weight.

The radiation generating apparatus has an envelope 12 having a first window 27 for transmitting the radiation, a radiation tube 14 enclosed in the envelope 12 and having a second window 19 for transmitting the radiation at a position in opposition to the first window 27, and an insulating liquid 13 filled between the envelope 12 and the radiation tube 14. A solid-state insulating member 28 is placed between the first window 27 and its periphery and the second window 19 and its periphery.

    摘要: An inverter circuit is shared by respective drive circuits that supply a predetermined voltage to a lens electrode and a grid electrode, or to a lens electrode and a cathode electrode. A DC voltage obtained by full-wave rectifying a pulse train output from the inverter circuit is supplied to the lens electrode, a DC voltage obtained by half-wave rectifying a pulse train output from the inverter circuit is supplied to the grid electrode or cathode electrode. At times of a first operation and a last operation of the inverter circuit during a period of generating X-rays, operations of the inverter circuit are controlled such that a trans circuit outputs a negative polarity voltage to the full-wave rectifying circuit and the half-wave rectifying circuit, respectively.
