    Abstract: Provided is a method for guaranteeing the processing of a control operation in a wireless communication system, and the method is performed by a first machine-to-machine (M2M)/Internet of Things (IoT) device and can comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a third M2M/IoT device, a resource generation request for delivering a control message for directing a control operation of a second M2M/IoT device, wherein the resource generation request includes the contents of the control message, an indicator requesting a processing guarantee of the control operation or an identifier of the resource generation request; receiving a resource generation response to the resource generation request from the third M2M/IoT device; receiving a control result notification including a processing result of the control operation according to the indicator from the third M2M/IoT device, wherein the control result notification includes the identifier of the resource generation request; and checking whether the contents of the control message match the contents of the control result notification.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the notification of a resource subscription in a machine-to-machine (M2M) system and devices for same, the method comprising the steps of: detecting a change in the resources to subscribe to comprising a subscription resource as a child resource; generating a notification message including a value indicating the event category of the change in accordance with the second attribute information configured in the subscription resource; and determining if a reception device is reachable on the basis of the scheduling information configured in a scheduling resource for an M2M device and the scheduling information configured in a scheduling resource for the reception device, wherein: if the reception device is determined to be reachable on the basis of the scheduling information, the notification message is immediately transmitted to the reception device; and if the reception device is determined to be unreachable on the basis of the scheduling information, the notification message is processed by the M2M device according to the value of the first attribute information configured in the subscription resource, and the processed notification message is transmitted to the reception device after the reception device is recovered to a reachable state.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method performed in a machine-to-machine (M2M) device comprising a first resource and a second resource, and an apparatus for the same. The method comprises the steps of: adding first condition information to filtering properties of the first resource; receiving, from a first entity, a request message including first information indicating an address corresponding to the second resource and second information indicating an operation to be performed in the device; and transmitting a notification message to a second entity indicated by address information set in the first resource when predetermined conditions are satisfied, wherein the predetermined conditions include (1) a condition that the second resource should correspond to a parent resource of the first resource and (2) a condition that the first condition information should include a parameter corresponding to the operation, and wherein the first resource and the second resource respectively show data structures which are uniquely addressable by using unique addresses.
