摘要： A linear compressor includes: a piston configured to reciprocate in an axial direction, and a cylinder that is provided on a radially outer side of the piston to accommodate the piston and that defines a compression space with the piston. The cylinder includes: a gas hole defined at the cylinder such that a first end of the gas hole is at an outer circumferential surface of the cylinder and a second end of the gas hole is at an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, and a gas pocket that is in communication with the gas hole and that is recessed from the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder, where a length of the gas pocket in the axial direction of the cylinder is longer than a length of the gas pocket in a circumferential direction of the cylinder.

A thermal expansion coefficient of the fixing ring is greater than that of the discharge cover.

The discharge cover may include a cover body having a discharge hole, through which the refrigerant discharged through the discharge valve may be discharged outside of the discharge cover, and a guide passage defined in the cover body to guide at least a portion of the refrigerant discharged through the discharge valve into the at least one chamber.
