    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a casing; an electric motor drive having a stator fixed within the casing, and a rotor rotatably provided within the stator; a rotational shaft coupled to the rotor to rotate along with the rotor; a compression device disposed at a lower portion of the electric motor drive to receive a rotational force from the rotational shaft and compress a refrigerant; and an oil storage space located within the casing. A plurality of oil discharge paths to allow oil accumulated at an upper portion thereof to be discharged to the oil storage space may be formed on an outer circumferential surface of the compression device to be separated from each other, and an overall cross-sectional area of the plurality of oil discharge paths may be about 2 to about 12% of an inner diameter cross-sectional area of the casing brought into contact with or separated from an outer circumferential surface of the compression device in the compression device.

    Abstract: A compressor includes a driving motor, a centrifugation space, a discharge pipe, a rotary shaft, a compression portion, a pump assembly, and an oil pickup. The centrifugation space is defined inside a case by a downstream side of the driving motor and the case, and enables centrifugation of a compressed refrigerant and a lubricant oil. The discharge pipe can discharge the refrigerant from the centrifugation space outside the case. The rotary shaft is coupled to a rotor of the driving motor and defines an oil supply path. The compression portion is provided at an upstream side of the driving motor and can compress the refrigerant as the rotary shaft rotates. The pump assembly is provided below the rotary shaft and can pump oil as rotated with the rotary shaft. The oil pickup defines an oil supply path between the pump assembly and a low oil space formed inside the case.

    Abstract: A compressor according to embodiments of the present invention may comprise: a first fluid channel provided to communicate with an oil supply fluid channel so as to allow oil to flow therethrough; a second fluid channel provided to extend from the first fluid channel so as to allow the oil to flow to the outside of a case; a third fluid channel extending from the second fluid channel and provided outside the case; and a main fluid channel extending from the third fluid channel and provided through a fixed scroll or a main frame. Accordingly, the oil is supplied to a compression part by passing along the outside of the case, so that oil can be effectively supplied when a high-pressure operation is performed. Moreover, the present invention may not have a facility such as a pressure reduction pin, so that oil can be effectively supplied when a low-pressure operation is performed.
