Abstract: A tire pressure detection system with separated antennas includes a detection end and a receiving end. The detection end includes tire pressure detectors to detect the tire to obtain the information of tire status. The tire pressure detectors output the information of the tire status in the form of radio frequency signal and Bluetooth signal. In addition to the transmission to the built-in tire-pressure receiving device, the information of the tire status also can be displayed on the in-vehicle audio-video device and the user's mobile device.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a distance travelled by a vehicle for the purpose of assessing and settling a road usage charge allows for determining a distance travelled with a vehicle. A mobile device can acquire odometer values which are subsequently reported to a system that confirms the distance drive and determines a road usage charge. Once the actual distance travelled by the vehicle is determined by the system, a road usage charge can be determined. Fuel excise taxes paid by the vehicle operator for fuel used by the vehicle and tolls can be subtracted from the road usage charge to determine a road usage settlement amount that can be paid from, or refunded to a financial account associated with the vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for a WLAN device to select an operating dynamic frequency selection (DFS) channel that minimizes the probability of radar interference by using aiding information. The aiding information may be a crowd-sourced database of geo-tagged radar zones including one or more DFS channels used within the geo-tagged radar zones that are detected by a plurality of WLAN devices. The WLAN device may query the crowd-sourced database for a geo-tagged radar zone that is nearby to determine if a radar operates on an overlapping DFS channel so it may switch to a different channel. In one aspect, the aiding information may be periodic special action frames broadcast by a WLAN beaconing device over the operating channel of the WLAN device. The special action frames may carry information on one or more channels used by a near-by radar and recommended alternative channels to use by the WLAN device.
