The present invention includes a sensing unit, a camera, a display unit, and a controller configured to launch a camera application, wherein the controller is further configured to execute a splice mode on the camera application, wherein the splice mode is a mode for outputting a preview image region and a splice region to the display unit by partitioning, and wherein the controller is further configured to output a preview image currently shot through the camera to the preview image region and recommend a splice image outputted to the splice region based on the outputted preview image.

The present invention relates to a washing apparatus and to a washing apparatus having a convenient user interface. More specifically, the present invention relates to a washing apparatus that provides a user interface that is concentrated, simple and intuitive. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a washing apparatus may be provided that is characterized by comprising: an annular rotary knob provided for course selection; a display for selectively displaying a course screen showing information on a course selected from within the radial directions of the rotary knob, and an options screen for changing options for at least one wash water temperature; washing intensity, number of rinses, and spin-dry intensity within the course; a switching input part provided within the radial directions of the rotary knob in order to switch between the course screen and the options screen through a selection by a user; and a single variable input part provided to change the options when in the options screen and to make inputs unrelated to the options when in the course screen.

The controller displays a guide object configured to provide guidance on taking the picture of the subject, automatically takes the preview picture if a shape of the subject matches a shape of the guide object by a reference value or more, and moves a position of an image of the subject acquired by taking the preview picture to correspond to a position of the guide object and displays a generated final image.

A portable device and a method for providing a voice recognition service are disclosed. The portable device includes a mechanical vibration sensor configured to sense vibrations having a magnitude equal to or larger than a threshold and generate an electrical signal, a motion sensor configured to sense a motion of the portable device, an audio sensor configured to receive a voice command, a sensor hub configured to control a plurality of sensors including the motion sensor and the audio sensor, and a main processor configured to execute an application and control the portable device. When the portable device is placed in standby mode, upon receipt of the electrical signal from the mechanical vibration sensor, the sensor hub is configured to switch from inactive state to active state and activate the motion sensor.
