    摘要: The invention provides a method and apparatus to be executed in a first UE (User Equipment), applied to identification for handover from a current serving network to a target network, the method comprising the steps of: acquiring handover status information for a second UE communicating with it; and sending identity confirmation information to the second UE according to the handover status information so that the second UE can validate its identity, wherein the handover status information and the identity confirmation information are transmitted via different networks. With the proposed method and apparatus, the handover procedure between two wireless networks can be facilitated even in the case of not providing identification information of the calling party of the handover call.

    摘要: The present invention provides a wireless network system that enables direct wireless delivery of a multimedia message from a first MMS user agent to a second MMS user agent. In accordance with one embodiment of the invention, the wireless network system includes a MMS server that receives, from the first MMS user agent, a request to send a multimedia message to the second MMS user agent. The request includes an identification (ID) number of the second MMS user agent. From a core network, for example, the MMS server obtains an Internet address of the second MMS user agent based on the ID number of the second MMS user agent, if the ID number is not an Internet address of the second MMS user agent. Then the MMS server forwards the Internet address to the first MMS user agent to enable the first MMS user agent to wirelessly deliver the multimedia message directly to the second MMS user agent using the Internet address. Therefore, by not involving a MMS server in delivering multimedia messages, a substantial amount of network resources is saved, and delivery speed of multimedia messages is significantly increased. As a result, the performance of the overall network system is greatly improved.

    摘要: The invention allows a portion of a multimedia message, usually the beginning part of the message to be delivered to and stored on a mobile terminal beforehand. When a user wants to view the message, the portion of the message stored locally will be played back immediately, while at the same time a user agent residing in the mobile terminal will contact a media server for the remaining contents using the streaming technology. This would give the user an impression that the whole message is stored locally since there is nearly no noticeable delay in the playback, thus providing a much better user experience. The partial contents down-loaded can be a portion of the whole multimedia message, or an muntrelated rich-media message provided by a third party as an advertisement. In this way, the usage of the local storage space on the mobile terminal will be much more efficient.

The device wirelessly transmits the motion data to a computer to cause the computer to derive a distance and direction of the movement of the input device in a two-dimensional plane based on the motion data. The computer then moves a cursor to a corresponding position based on the distance and direction derived. The input device also generates control signals in response to a user's command to cause the computer to perform a corresponding cursor action, e.g., a double click operation.

    摘要: A method for addressing and locating WLAN communication node is disclosed in the present invention. The GSM or CDMA, which is characterized in broad coverage, the steadiest performance, and the most mature technology, is employed to confirm the subscribers' IP address. One of the communication parties sends data call to another party through GSM or CDMA and transmits the preset information package including the IP address of the calling party, which is processed by the system, to the other party. Then both parties can accomplish the WLAN interconnection based upon the known IP address in the WLAN. The method can also be applied to all the end-to-end communication system for addressing. The present invention relates to the mobile terminal adopting said method. The method can confirm the address information of the WLAN communication node conveniently, and rapidly, thereby decreasing the cost of communication, eliminating or lowering the dependence on the server of Internet so as to make the subscribers communicate more flexibly and conveniently.
