摘要: A full power switch assembly for a portable generator that is capable of instantly communicating the presence and operation of a full power switch to the user is disclosed. The full power switch assembly includes a first outlet for supplying electrical power having a first voltage (e.g., 120 VAC), a second outlet for supplying electrical power having a second voltage (e.g., 240 VAC), and a switch including a selector. The selector is movable from a first position to a second position for causing the first outlet to be capable of supplying electrical power up to a maximum power level. Movement of the selector between the first position and the second position further causes indicia to be displayed for indicating whether the first outlet is capable of supplying electrical power up to the maximum power level.

摘要: The present invention is directed to an air compressor assembly including a lifting handle. An air compressor assembly suitable for lifting includes an air reservoir suitable for storing compressed air under pressure, the reservoir having a front-end portion, a rearward portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion. A lift handle assembly suitable for use in lifting the air compressor assembly is at least partially disposed on at least one of the first and second side portions. In an additional aspect of the present invention, an air compressor assembly suitable for lifting includes an air reservoir suitable for storing compressed air having a first end portion and a second end portion. A wheel assembly suitable for transporting the air compressor assembly is disposed on the second end portion of the air reservoir. A transport handle assembly suitable for use in controlling transportation of the air compressor assembly when utilizing the wheel assembly is disposed on the first end portion of the air reservoir. A lifting handle assembly suitable for use in lifting the air compressor assembly is at least at least partially disposed on the second end portion of the air reservoir.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a method and system for improving motor efficiency. The motor of the present invention may provide at least 1.9 Horsepower (HP) while drawing 15–16 Amperes at 120 Volts. The motor of the present invention may provide at least 75% efficiency and the speed of 12,000 to 14,000 RPM. A small size and low weight motor may be provided by the present invention. Further, it is contemplated that the motor of the present invention may be produced at a low cost per unit with a volume of 500,000 to 1,000,000 units per year. It is also contemplated that the motor may be suitable for use in consumer and professional products by complying with recognized safety standards such as U.L., CSA, CEE and the like.

摘要: A mounting frame facilitates the installation of ganged electrical devices into a single switchbox. The frame is a rectangular plate with a rectangular opening and provides a rigid support for the devices. Support is needed when the wall on which devices are to be mounted is not planar or when the switchbox is not properly mounted into the wall. The frame can also include markings that help to align the devices to permit a multigang faceplate to snap onto the devices. An alignment frame provides markings to help align the devices, without also providing a rigid support.
