Abstract:
A communication device is provided for enabling a user to establish an automated call back from a communication system, such as a call center, for example. A software device application enables the communication device to communicate with the call center through the exchange of data. The communication device includes a display screen for displaying controls for allowing the user to interact with the communication system. The controls allow the user to request a list of providers from which to select a provider or company to contact. The communication device further provides controls for allowing the user to select a queue to join from a list of queues associated with the selected provider. An embodiment of a system and method for managing, directing, and queuing communication events may also communicate contextual data between a communication device and a communication system.
Abstract:
Embodiments of a system and method are disclosed for initiating a call-back sequence using image technology. Embodiments include capturing an image using an image sensor, sending the captured image to a communication system, searching a database of images for persons corresponding to the captured image, sending a request in a data format to the communication system for a connection with the persons, receiving an identification of active queues, displaying an indication of the active queues on a display screen using a session queuing component, obtaining a user selection of a queue as a selected queue using the session queuing component, sending a request to the communication system in a data format for expected wait time, receiving the expected wait time from the communication system, and sending a confirmation to the communication system in a data format for a call-back.

Abstract:
A cable management system for organizing and controlling cables extending from an electronic device while providing substantially unimpeded device access, substantially unrestricted cable movement and substantially unrestricted air flow into and out of the device. The system attaches to a secure structure and is capable of boxing out from the structure to allow access to service a device positioned within the secure structure. The cable management system includes at least three cable arms of rigid material, a coupling member attached between each adjacent pair of the at least three cable arms, where the coupling member provides movement between each of the adjacent pairs of cable arms.
Abstract:
Apparatus and method for defining the form and attributes of an object in an image. The form and attributes of the object are defined in such a way that the attribute data can be modified without changing the form. Attribute data may include opacity, color, and object width. In detail, a path which represents the underlying skeletal form of an object in an image is generated from path control data, which may comprise data defining path control points. Values of an attribute of the object are specified at attribute points which have a position relative to the path. The attribute points may be varied without changing the form. The apparatus and method may be used for computer painting and to generate a matte or transparency image.

Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a plurality of glass bubbles having an average true density of up to about 0.55 grams per cubic centimeter and a size distribution including a median size in a range from about 15 micrometers to 40 micrometers. A hydrostatic pressure at which ten percent by volume of the plurality of glass bubbles collapses is at least about 100 megapascals. In some embodiments, the plurality of glass bubbles is a graded fraction preparable by classifying a second plurality of glass bubbles, wherein the second plurality of glass bubbles has a higher percentage of glass bubbles with a size of up to ten micrometers than the first plurality of glass bubbles. Composites including the plurality of glass bubbles are also disclosed.
