The door itself has a supporting door frame into which functional door components are installed, and a door outer skin that includes skin components for securing the skin to the door frame. These modular units are releasably secured to one or more door hinge sections independently of each other for independent assembly and repair operations.

摘要： A vehicle door, for example a passenger car door, is supported by a door frame formed by a modular frame structure having a forward frame section, a rear frame section, an upper frame section, and a lower frame section. Additional components and accessories of the door, such as window lift mechanisms and lock mechanisms, are attached to the modular frame structure. At least a portion of each of the forward, lower and rear frame sections is formed from a continuous sectional member such as an extruded sectional member. The continuous sectional member includes a box cross-sectional portion that provides the required supporting strength for the door frame and includes laterally extending webs that are cut and bent along edge portions as required to form intermediate spacing webs as well as connecting flanges. The modular frame structure provides a simple and economical door frame, which is lightweight, yet strong, and which allows for the convenient attachment of various other door components, for example, on the connecting flanges.

摘要： A vehicle is provided with transparent roof area having at least one roof window tailored to fit into the roof structure. An adjustable darkening against exposure to incident light is provided toward the passenger compartment. The roof area has a first optically structured, immovably fixed surface and a second optically structured, movable surface. The first and second surfaces are arranged one over the other. The second surface here abuts the first surface so that it can slide over it. While the first surface takes up the entire roof window, the second surface is arranged at least in partial areas of the roof window. The second surface is arranged so that it can move relative to the first surface in such a way that the optical structures lying one over the other alter the incident light as a function of position.

The door frame (1) has an undercut guide groove (10) on a first edge and on a second edge which is roughly opposite the first edge. The outside door panel (2), on its first and second edge, has undercut guide rails (12) which fit into the guide grooves (10). The door frame (1) on a third edge which runs roughly transversely to the first and second edge has a retaining groove and on the fourth edge roughly opposite the third edge has a catch groove. The outside door panel (2) on the third edge has a retaining rail which fits into the retaining groove and on the fourth edge has a catch rail which fits into the catch groove. The outside door panel (2) with the guide rails (12) can be pushed into the guide grooves (10) on the door frame (1) in the longitudinal direction until the retaining rail has entered the retaining groove and the catch rail has engaged the catch groove.
