摘要: An axially adjustable steering column includes a first jacket. The steering column also includes a second jacket, wherein the first jacket is axially adjustable relative to the second jacket. The steering column further includes an adjustment lever. The steering column yet further includes a locking mechanism, wherein the adjustment lever selectively moves the locking mechanism between a locked position and an unlocked position, wherein the locked position prevents axial adjustment of the first jacket relative to the second jacket in both axial directions, and the unlocked position allows adjustment of the first jacket relative to the second jacket.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a steering column, comprising: a first sleeve, a second sleeve and a gap elimination means. The first sleeve is received in the second sleeve in a telescopic way in a longitudinal direction. The gap elimination means includes an elastic pretensioning element and a wedge-shaped body, the wedge-shaped body having a first wedge-shaped surface and a second mating surface. The gap elimination means further comprises an intermediate element, the intermediate element having a third wedge-shaped surface which abuts the first wedge-shaped surface and has a shape fitted to the shape of the first wedge-shaped surface. The pretensioning element applies a pressing force to the wedge-shaped body via the intermediate element. The steering column according to the present disclosure is capable of stably maintaining a gapless state between the first sleeve and second sleeve, thus preventing noise.

摘要: A steering device includes a restricting bracket assembled with an inner pipe. The restricting bracket includes a single restricting plate, a pair of downwardly extended plates, and a pair of side plate portions. The restricting plate overlaps an outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe, and is provided with an elongated hole along the lengthwise direction of the inner pipe. A coupling bolt passing through the elongated hole tightens the restricting plate to the outer circumferential surface. Each side plate portion extends from a tip of each downwardly extended plate along the external surface of each clamping portion, and is held between each clamping portion and each outer column supporting portion. Each downwardly extended plate and each side plate portions are provided with respective telescopic adjustment elongated holes through which a clamping bolt passes. The coupling bolt moves forward in the elongated hole when a secondary collision occurs.

A friction pad is supported by a first of the elements, and a clamping surface is rigidly connected to a second of the elements, wherein the friction pad is configured to contact and bear on the clamping surface, and an adjustment mechanism. The adjusting mechanism includes a cam bearing on a support member to generate a variation in pressure of the friction pad on the clamping surface parallel to a reference axis that is fixed relative to the first element, between a use position and an adjustment position. The adjustment mechanism of the adjustment system is configured to generate a relative rotational movement between the cam and the support member about the reference axis.

摘要: The present invention relates to a steering column for a vehicle. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a steering column for a vehicle includes: an outer column including a pair of distance parts protruding from the outer surface of the outer column and facing each other, and an outer circumferential surface having a partially cut-out portion between the pair of the distance parts; an inner column coupled to an inside of the outer column and provided movably in an shaft direction; and a telescopic member formed to absorb an impact load upon a vehicle collision and coupled with the inner column, wherein the telescopic member includes: a fixed gear coupled to the inner column and provided movably in the shaft direction together with the inner column when the inner column moves; a movable gear provided to fix the inner column after the inner column moves in the shaft direction, and provided with a plurality of gear teeth coupled to slit holes of the fixed gear; and an elastic support coupled with the movable gear to provide a fixing force in a direction toward the inner column, and provided so that the movable gear and the fixed gear are coupled with each other, wherein when an impact is applied to the vehicle, the fixed gear is formed to absorb the impact load by causing the inner column to move a predetermined distance and come into contact with a portion of the fixed gear.
