摘要： A connector includes an insulative holding member having a generally-cylindrical tubular shape, and a conductive shielding member which includes a cover portion for covering an outer peripheral face of the holding member and a clamping portion. The holding member has a receiving portion. The cover portion has an engaging portion which engages with the receiving portion. The holding member has a guide groove for guiding the engaging portion to the receiving portion, the guide groove extending from an end portion of the holding member along a first direction in which the holding member extends. The guide groove has a first end and a second end, the first end disposed on the end portion of the holding member, and the second end disposed so as to opposed to the first end. A width of the guide groove gradually increases toward the first end to the second end.

The receptacle terminal is constituted by a blank having parts corresponding to the base wall, the crimping piece, the pair of walls, and the resilient piece. The resilient piece has a joining piece and an extended strip joined to the joining piece. The extended strip of the blank extends along an insertion direction of the pin. The joining piece projects from a longitudinal edge of the one of the pair of walls.

A cover 17 is releasably engaged with the connector housing 1 to cover the openings 5, and a closure portion 35 for covering the retaining holes 9 is formed on and extends from a front end of the cover 17.

摘要： An insulation displacement contact terminal has a pair of side walls, an a pair of pressure contact blades that are mutually opposing and formed by partial bending away from the side walls. When an insulated wire is inserted between the pressure contact blades along a first direction, edges of the pressure contact blades bite into the insulation of the insulated wire so as to make contact with the inner core wire of the insulated wire. The pressure contact blades each have a curved part that is continuous from the side walls, and each curved part has a radius of curvature such that when the pressure contact blades are bent from the side walls and when a pulling force is applied to the insulated wire in a second direction that intersects with the first direction, concentration of bending stress acting on the pressure contact blades is relieved.

摘要： A connector with a rear holder in which connector terminals can be positively mounted in predetermined positions in a connector housing simultaneously when the rear holder is attached to the connector housing. In the connector with the rear holder, a press member is formed on a reverse surface of a rear holder upper plate through hinges, and when the rear holder upper plate is pressed down from an upper side, the press member is pivotally moved toward a direction of insertion of the connector terminals. As a result, the connector terminals can be forced in the insertion direction, and can be retained in the predetermined positions in terminal receiving chambers. At the same time, withdrawal prevention retaining portions, formed at the rear end portion of the press member, are retainingly engaged respectively with completely-retaining portions formed respectively at partition walls separating the terminal receiving chambers from one another, thereby achieving the double retaining of the connector terminals and the positive attachment of the rear holder.
