Abstract:
A system and method for reading Torah text, which includes a light table on which notation sheets which are in the form of individual sheets or a scrollable web are placeable, is so structured that a Torah scroll can be opened by being placed over the light table and the notation sheet and the Torah text can be aligned with the notation sheet to allow a Cantor or a Rabbi to read to a congregation the text of the Torah with the proper cantilations and pronunciations by observing the notation marks as they are visible by their being projected through the parchment of the Torah.
Abstract:
An internet related telephone accessory connects directly to conventional home and business telephones and enables the establishment of long distance telephone connections through the internet, realizing substantial savings in long distance telephone tolls. The telephone accessory initiates, in response to dialing of a long distance telephone number, a process which calls that telephone number through the internet. If the receiving telephone is not connected at the time of the call to its internet service provider (ISP), the telephone accessory calls the dialed telephone conventionally, i.e. through a long distance telephone service (MCI, ATT, SPRINT, etc.) and electronically signals it (in the space of less than about a second) to connect itself to the internet. Thereafter, the accessory redials the called telephone over the internet, so that the parties could converse (or transmit fax messages and the like) over the internet at local telephone rates.
Abstract:
An electrical vehicle including a vehicle body, a passenger compartment, a chassis supporting the passenger compartment, a plurality of wheels and at least one electrical motor for driving the wheels. A battery compartment of the vehicle is configured to removably mount therein a plurality of more than two rechargeable batteries which are movable into position in the battery compartment by a battery conveyor system which has a battery access opening through which batteries are installed or removed, one by one, to and from the battery compartment. In the battery compartment, a connection mechanism effects the needed mechanical and electrical connections. An overall control system controls the conveyor system and the connection mechanism to enable rapid replacement of the removable batteries, whereby an electrical vehicle can be instantly driven, even after its batteries have been discharged by a replacement of the discharged batteries and the installation of freshly charged batteries.
Abstract:
A cell phone charger comprises a main body having embedded therein a charging circuit configured to receive line AC voltage and to convert it to a DC voltage suitable for charging the mobile device. AC prongs fold into the body in a stowed position and a connection structure formed integrally with the main body grasps onto and holds the charger secured to the cell phone device. In a preferred embodiment, the AC prongs pivot independently and lie flat against an outside surface of the main body.

Abstract:
A water supply system includes a main water tank that is configured to store water and includes a heater to heat the stored water to close to but below a boiling temperature thereof, to provide main heated water. A dispenser water tank receives a portion of the main heated water, and is free of any heating elements to add heat to the water stored therein, and providing dispensable heated water. A water mixer includes a first pipe for receiving the dispensable heated water from the dispenser tank and a second pipe for receiving utility water from a faucet that supplies utility-provided water, with a mixing chamber from which the waters from the first pipe and the second pipe are dispensed and/or in which these waters are admixed.
Abstract:
A wheeling frame for a suitcase which has its own rolling wheels includes a frame supporting a pair of leaning wheels arranged at ends of a pair of pivotable legs, with a first wheel arranged at the end of a first leg and a second wheel arranged at the end of a second leg. The leg positions are adjustable between a stowed position and a deployed, adjustable position extending at an angle to the frame. The legs have a movable pivoting axis and adjustable lengths. A handle system at a proximal end of the frame is adjustable in length and angle, and is operable in conjunction with the leaning wheels to roll the suitcase in a stable leaning position, to allow walking the suitcase on steps of a staircase, and to be converted into a suitcase table, to ease packing and unpacking.
