Abstract:
The invention relates to an adapter for coupling a laser treatment device to an object for treatment, whereby the adapter has an input side, which may be fixed relative to the laser treatment device, by a locking mechanism and which may be fixed to the object, for alignment of the object relative to the laser treatment device. A scanned laser beam is introduced on the input side, from the laser treatment device, along a beam path to the object with a reference structure. The reference structure lies on the beam path of the adapter and may be optically detected by means of the laser beam scanned over the region.
Abstract:
A small-power electric motor comprising a stationary part and a part which rotates about a shaft, wherein the stationary part has a brush plate with a number of brushes and at least one magnetic field sensor, and wherein the rotating part has collector surfaces assigned to the brushes and at least one sensor magnet assigned to the magnetic field sensor.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a laser treatment unit for performing eye surgery, comprising a contact glass (23), which can be placed onto the eye (21) and via which a treatment laser beam (2) passes. A safety mechanism (24, 25) is provided that displaceably holds the contact glass (23) in such a manner that the contact glass retreats when the contact glass (23) is subjected to the action of a force contrary to the direction of incidence of the laser beam. The safety mechanism (24, 25) enables this retreating when a force is greater than a force limit value (Fmin) and holds the contact glass (23) in a fixed manner when the force is less than the force limit value.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a fixation mark which is to be displayed to the patient in order to prevent unwanted eye movements during the treatment of an eye without taxing the patient's ability to concentrate. In the method according to the invention, the fixation mark which is to be displayed and on which the patient must orient the eye to be treated by foveal focusing is projected in the field of vision of the eye to be treated. To prevent unwanted eye movements, the fixation mark is moved in the field of vision of the patient. The movement is carried out in such a way that the patient can easily follow the fixation mark. The proposed technical solution relates to a fixation object which can be used in ophthalmologic examination devices as well as in ophthalmologic treatment devices. Since the patient is occupied in following the fixation object with his/her eyes, the risk of glancing away is substantially reduced. In this way, unwanted and uncontrolled movements of the eye being treated can be minimized.
