摘要: A visual field testing apparatus comprises a display for displaying targets; a line of sight detection unit that detects a line of sight of a user and that outputs line of sight information pertaining to a direction of the line of sight; a visual recognition determination unit that carries out determination as to whether or not the user has visually recognized a target based on line of sight information and position information of the target; and a visual field testing unit that sequentially displays targets at prescribed locations at the display and that carries out testing of a range of visual field based on output from the visual recognition determination unit; wherein the visual field testing unit comprises a visual recognition detection feedback unit which, when it is detected due to output from the visual recognition determination unit that the user has visually recognized a target which is currently displayed at the display, carries out feedback processing for a prescribed time to let the user know that detection has occurred.

摘要: A method of evaluating a vision of a subject including: causing a display to define a first display portion and a second display portion; causing the display to emit, from the first display portion, light having a first wavelength value and to emit, from the second display portion, light having a second wavelength value; causing the display to present, on the first display portion, one or more first optotypes and to present, on the second display portion, one or more second optotypes; varying with time the second wavelength value within a predefined wavelengths range; obtaining an indication concerning a subject's perception of the one or more second optotypes as compared to a subject's perception of the one or more first optotypes; and determining a vision disorder of the subject based on the second wavelength value for which the indication has been obtained.

摘要: A vision testing system that allows a user to execute a set of virtual reality (VR) vision testing applications with stereoscopic and shimmering effect is disclosed. The system includes a communication device, a VR gaming unit, a wireless input remote controller and a stereoscopic VR viewing device. The controller enables the user to provide VR input signals to a VR gaming application installed in the communication device. The VR viewing device splits a display screen of the communication device into a left image portion and a right image portion and directs the image data displayed at the left image portion and at the right image portion to the left eye and to the right eye of the user respectively. The stereoscopic VR viewing device to view a set of VR games with stereoscopic and shimmering effect in perception induced by a binocular rivalry feature of the eyes of the user.

The contrast-sensitivity test device includes: an illumination unit that emits illumination light such that a field of view of a subject is in a specified illumination environment; a visual target presentation unit that is located within the field of view of the subject and that switches and sequentially presents a plurality of visual targets having different contrasts; a response-time measurement unit that, when the illumination light is emitted, measures a response time after each visual target is presented until the subject recognizes the visual target; and a casing that houses the illumination unit, the visual target presentation unit, and the response-time measurement unit.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention are directed towards systems, methods and computer program products for providing improved eye tests. Such tests improve upon current eye tests, such as visual field tests, by incorporating a gamification of the testing process, software mediated guidance to the patient or practitioner such that more accurate results of the eye tests are obtained. Furthermore, through the use of one or more trained machine learning or predictive analytic systems, multiple signals obtained from sensors of a testing apparatus are evaluated to ensure that the eye test results are less error-prone and provide a more consistent evaluation of a user's vision status. As it will be appreciated, such error reduction and user guidance systems represent technological improvements in eye tests and utilize non-routine and non-conventional approaches to the improvement and reliability of eye tests.

摘要: A system and method of detecting eye movements of a subject for the diagnosis of neurological disorders. The method includes tracking eye movements of the subject, identifying microsaccades from the tracked eye movements, and characterizing microsaccade dynamics of the identified microsaccades to determine one or more parameters, such as microsaccade direction, microsaccade velocity, microsaccade magnitude, microsaccadic peak velocity-magnitude relationship, microsaccade duration, and intersaccadic intervals. The method also includes comparing the one or more determined parameters with a corresponding control parameter, assessing the comparison to determine differences between the one or more determined parameters and the corresponding control parameters, and generating a report including the diagnosis of neurological disorder based on the assessment.
