    Abstract: An object management system includes an acquisition means for acquiring an image in which a surface of a registration target object, having a circle and a handwritten character drawn thereon, is captured, a generation means for detecting an ellipse corresponding to the circle from the image and generating a registration image in which the image is applied with projective transformation such that the ellipse becomes a circle, and a registration means for writing the registration image into a storage means as data for determining the sameness of the registration target object.

    Abstract: There is provided a moving object detection technique capable of improving accuracy of detecting a moving object from video photographed by a moving camera. A moving object detection apparatus 10A according to an aspect of the present disclosure is provided with: a receiving portion 11 that receives video taken by an image capturing apparatus provided in a mobile body; a first calculation portion 13 that calculates first moving-object scores based on a motion of one or more pixels of image included in the video; a second calculation portion 15 that calculates second moving-object scores based on a background model and the image, wherein the background model is updated based on the image and the motions of the pixels; and a detection portion 16 that detects a moving object from the image based on the first scores and the second scores.

    Abstract: An individual identification system includes an acquiring means and a determining means.     Abstract: An individual identification apparatus includes a setting means for setting an imaging condition for imaging a matching area of an object by a camera, an acquisition means for acquiring a matching image that is an image obtained by imaging the matching area of the object by the camera, a matching means for performing matching between the matching image and a registration image registered in advance, and a control means. The control means repeats processing of acquiring the matching image by the acquisition means and matching between the matching image and the registration image by the matching means, while changing the imaging condition set by the setting means, and determines an imaging condition in which a matching degree between the matching image and the registration image becomes a preset threshold or larger. The matching means identifies an individual based on the matching image captured under the determined imaging condition.

    Abstract: An image matching apparatus matching a first image against a second image includes an acquiring unit, a generating unit, and a determining unit. The acquiring unit acquires a frequency feature of the first image and a frequency feature of the second image. The generating unit synthesizes the frequency feature of the first image and the frequency feature of the second image, and generates a quantized synthesized frequency feature in which a value of an element is represented by a binary value or a ternary value. The determining unit calculates a score indicating a degree to which the quantized synthesized frequency feature is a square wave having a single period, and matches the first image against the second image based on the score.

    Abstract: An image matching device that performs matching between a first image and a second image includes: a frequency characteristic acquisition unit configured to acquire a frequency characteristic of the first image and a frequency characteristic of the second image; a frequency characteristic synthesizing unit configured to synthesize the frequency characteristic of the first image and the frequency characteristic of the second image to generate a synthesized frequency characteristic; a determination unit configured to perform frequency transformation on the synthesized frequency characteristic to calculate a correlation coefficient map whose resolution coincides with a target resolution, and perform matching between the first image and the second image based on a matching score calculated from the correlation coefficient map; and a regulation unit configured to regulate the target resolution based on the matching score.
