Abstract: Face image acquiring means acquires a face image of an authentication target person from a captured image of an imaging device. Authentication means verifies the acquired face image of the authentication target person with the registered image, and performs authentication with respect to the authentication target person. When the authentication succeeds, calculation means verifies the face image of the authentication target person with a face image obtained when the authentication target person has succeeded in the authentication in the past, and calculates a score. Determination means determines whether to prompt the authentication target person to update the registered image based on the calculated score. Notification means transmits a notification prompting the authentication target person to update the registered image.
